Legendary sniper 'Kingfisher' Yu Bo-na (played by Gong Hyo-jin) demonstrated overwhelming combat prowess even while intoxicated, wiping out an organ trafficking ring. In the third episode of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Married Killer,' which aired on the 7th, the intertwined past and present of Yu Bo-na were revealed, alongside a high-tension action sequence during a workshop at Taegongsan Mountain.

Although Yu Bo-na chose to leave her life as a killer behind for a normal existence, her relationship with Oh Hyun-nam (played by Ha Yul-ri), who idolizes her as a hero from the past, remained at an impasse. Oh Hyun-nam is the only person who witnessed Kingfisher sniping her father in the past. Addressing Yu Bo-na, who saved her during a time of despair, Oh Hyun-nam tearfully pleaded, "You are my Santa, the savior of my life. So, take responsibility."

Christmas 15 Years Ago: The Sniper Who Changed a Girl's Fate

The connection between the two dates back to Christmas 15 years ago. At the time, Oh Hyun-nam was facing the terrifying situation of her biological father, Oh Man-seok (played by Kim Won-hae), being released from prison and coming to find her. Yu Bo-na instructed Oh Hyun-nam to leave the living room window open, and at the exact moment Oh Man-seok was about to kill her, she took the shot. Recalling the moment, Oh Hyun-nam said, "It was as if God himself appeared."

Yu Bo-na's decision to take the shot stemmed from a desire to save even just one person. However, she expressed disappointment that Oh Hyun-nam was following in her footsteps. Contrary to Yu Bo-na's wish for a quiet life, Oh Hyun-nam was shocked after seeing Yu Bo-na with Kwon Tae-seong (played by Jung Joon-won) six years ago, and she sought to bring her back to being Kingfisher.

Yu Bo-na remained firm with Oh Hyun-nam. Drawing a line, she stated, "If I am your savior, then the one who saved Kingfisher was Kwon Tae-seong." Her anger reached its peak when Oh Hyun-nam threatened to poison her husband, Kwon Tae-seong. Yu Bo-na had already identified that what Oh Hyun-nam used was merely a sleeping pill. Warning Oh Hyun-nam for threatening her husband, Yu Bo-na fired live ammunition, saying, "You messed with someone you shouldn't have touched."

The Trap at Taegongsan Workshop and Sales Team 3's Counterattack

Sales Team 3 of Durumi Electronics headed to Taegongsan for a workshop to investigate the true nature of 'Taegong Grandpa Pension,' suspected to be a hideout for a potential client. The pension owner offered honey water to the visiting employees, but it was laced with sleeping pills. While the other team members collapsed, Sales Team 3 survived because they had sensed something suspicious and prepared an antidote in advance.

The gang members threatened the bound members of Sales Team 3 with violence. As the elderly pension owner threatened them with a gun, signal reception returned and approval for the preliminary meeting was granted. This allowed Sales Team 3, including Team Leader Kim Bong-pal (played by Sung Dong-il), a former special forces soldier, and Assistant Manager Yang Ye-sol (played by Kim Ga-hee), a martial arts expert, to break free and launch a counterattack.

During this process, Yu Bo-na, who had been sleeping off her intoxication, woke up. Muttering, "Why is it so noisy?" she rose and disarmed the elderly man holding the gun. In the ensuing action, Yu Bo-na displayed overwhelming force, even delivering a 'raw pork belly punch' to the gangsters—a move described as one of her long-standing drunken habits. She ended the situation by plunging a kitchen knife next to the leader's head. Upon witnessing her skills, Kim Bong-pal rejoiced, saying, "Manager Yu is still got it."

Detective Lee Dong-jin's Investigation into the Organ Trafficking Ring

Behind the scenes, Detective Lee Dong-jin (played by Lee Sang-yi) is conducting an investigation to hunt down Kingfisher. Lee maintained a hardline stance against Kingfisher's method of vigilante justice, stating, "The law is a social contract." Regarding recently discovered bodies from organ harvesting, he identified a connection to an organ trafficking ring from five years ago and expanded his investigation to include incidents from four years ago.

Kwon Tae-seong also discovered circumstances linking him to the Kingfisher case while reporting on social issues. The preview for episode 4 features the release of a criminal wearing an electronic anklet and Sales Team 3's plan to stop them. A tense chase is expected to unfold as Yu Bo-na faces the risk of her identity being exposed.
