While acknowledging that conversations inevitably decrease once children arrive, she emphasized that one partner must make a continuous effort to maintain the connection. Specifically, she advised, "Instead of blaming your partner, you need to speak kindly and make an effort to find common interests." She also used a metaphor, noting that being too close can cause one to burn, while being too far can cause one to feel cold, suggesting that a certain level of "push and pull" to maintain a proper distance may be necessary even in a marriage.

The following story was about a woman who had been in a relationship for six years after starting at age 20. Although she met a domestic and caring boyfriend through cohabitation, she faced an extreme situation where his parents demanded she sever ties with him, saying, "Never see your child again." While Baek Ziyoung noted that such a reaction could be understandable from a parent's perspective, she also expressed bewilderment, asking, "They could just say don't get married, so why demand a total cutoff from their own child?"
