The members of the group Stray Kids engaged in a unique physical ability competition themed around muscles.
According to the released video, in this 'SKZ-ical: 8', various muscle-related quests were carried out under the setting of exploring the most perfect physique, regardless of personality, age, or height. Under the hosting of MC SEUNGMIN, members including Bang Chan, Lee Min-ho, Seo Chang-bin, Hwang Hyun-jin, Han Ji-sung, and I.N appeared as participants, starting the competition by revealing their respective exercise histories and physical confidence.
Forearm Test, scoop out watermelon flesh quickly
The theme of the first quest was 'forearm'. A mission was given to quickly scoop out the flesh of a watermelon using the muscles between the elbow and the wrist. Participants had to use a teaspoon to scoop out the red part of the watermelon so that it was no longer visible, and the two who performed the slowest were eliminated.
In the video, the members approached the mission in different ways. I.N completed the mission in first place, boasting the strength of his forearms. On the other hand, Bang Chan and Lee Min-ho, who could not immerse themselves in the game as they focused on the sweetness and taste of the watermelon, were determined to be the eliminated ones. During the mission process, the members increased the tension of the competition by checking on each other regarding the method of scooping the watermelon and the fairness of the judgment.
Orbicularis oculi and plantar fascia, a battle of tears and pain
In the subsequent 2-on-2 team match, a mission utilizing the 'orbicularis oculi', the muscle around the eyes, was carried out. The rule was that the team that fills a cylinder with more tears by watching sad videos for 3 minutes would win. In this process, the 'SKZ-ical Exchange Voucher', which allows one to swap bodies with an eliminated person, acted as a variable, causing changes in team composition.
The revival opportunity given to the eliminated members led to a mission themed around the 'plantar fascia'. It was a mission where they had to endure receiving a foot massage that stimulates the plantar fascia of the sole without making a sound. In the video, the images of members whose expressions distorted because they could not endure the pain during the massage process were shown alternating with the images of members showing composure while emphasizing their usual self-care.
