Musicians Woo Huijun, Cheongyoil, and the band Leto showcased diverse musical identities during the live preliminary stage of the 2026 Hello Rookie auditions presented by EBS Space. Woo Huijun entered the stage for his third challenge this year, following his success in passing three previous preliminary rounds.

Musicians who have been building their own worlds by expanding musical boundaries met on stage. In the live preliminary stage of "2026 Hello Rookie" presented by EBS Space, Woo Huijun, Cheongyoil, and Leto appeared in succession to reveal their unique musical colors.

Woo Huijun proves musical contemplation through his third challenge

In his recently released second album, he introduced field recording and conceptual compositions, showing him moving one step closer to being an artist and philosopher who contemplates through music.

As the album title suggests, the characteristic of the artist is expressing atypical images that are difficult to define precisely through their own unique colors. The band Leto is a team that reveals intimate tastes even within the zeitgeist of music. Based on a raw rock sound, they combine modular synthesizers and samplers, glitch and auto-tune, and digital noise to translate the emotions and subculture sensibilities of today's young generation into music.
