The travel platform Tripstore is expanding its service scope, which was previously centered on overseas packages and airtels, into the domestic travel sector.

Tripstore announced on the 29th that it has launched a service that allows users to search for and book approximately 30,000 domestic accommodations, including hotels and pensions, in major tourist destinations such as Jeju, Gangneung, and Busan. Through this service expansion, users can now handle everything from overseas travel to domestic travel preparations on a single platform.

Resolving search inconvenience with accommodation comparison features incorporating AI technology

Tripstore has introduced its self-developed comparison feature to its domestic accommodation reservation service as well. When a user 'saves' accommodations they are interested in, the system places them side-by-side on one screen so that major conditions such as room rates, location, transportation, facilities, and services can be compared at a glance. This measure is intended to reduce the existing inconvenience where users had to visit the detailed pages of each accommodation individually to check conditions.

Until now, Tripstore has provided a service where approximately 5 million package, airtel, and themed travel products from major domestic travel agencies such as HanaTour, Mode Tour, and Yellow Balloon can be compared and booked in one place. In particular, it is characterized by supporting everything from searching to selecting complex travel products using artificial intelligence technologies such as AI product summaries, AI product recommendations, AI comparison, and conversational AI assistants.

Integrated management of existing accounts and provision of discount benefits to celebrate service launch

Service convenience has also been strengthened. Existing Tripstore users can book domestic accommodations using their existing accounts without a separate membership registration process. Through this, an environment has been established where overseas travel products and domestic accommodation reservation details can be managed integrally under a single account.

Promotions to celebrate the service launch will also be held. A 4% discount coupon, which allows for a discount of up to 30,000 won when booking 80,000 won or more, will be provided to all customers. This coupon can be obtained through the domestic accommodation home screen banner and the event/benefits page within the app.
