BODYFRIEND Sales Grow 52% During Chuseok Holiday… High-End Models Over 6 Million Won Surge to 43.9% Share

BODYFRIEND's sales during this year's Chuseok holiday showed steep growth, increasing by 52% compared to the same period last year. The total quantity of products sold during the four-day holiday was also recorded to have increased by 22% compared to the previous year.

Shift in Sales Structure Centered on High-End Premium Models

The key driver of this performance growth was seen in the expansion of sales for the premium lineup. According to BODYFRIEND, high-end models priced at 6 million won or more accounted for 43.9% of the products sold during the holiday period. This is a sharp increase of more than 30%p compared to the 13.9% recorded during the same period last year, and it is analyzed that the shift in the sales structure toward high-priced products led to the overall rise in performance.

Concentrated Demand for Medical Devices and AI-Equipped Product Lines

By item, consumer preference for medical device product lines appeared high. On a single-item basis, 'Medical Pharaoh 2026' recorded 33.2% of the total transaction volume, taking the highest sales share. This was followed by 'Davinci AI Pro', which applied artificial intelligence (AI) technology at 11.3%, and 'Medical Phantom Rovo' at 10.9%, confirming their positions as major items. 'Quantum AI Pro' also showed a sales share of 5.2%.

A BODYFRIEND official explained, "Demand seeking medical devices applied with differentiated technologies such as AI and robotics as holiday gifts led to the surge in sales." They added, "Even after the holiday, the footsteps of customers visiting stores for daily health management continue steadily."
