PENTAGON, the Weight of Preparing for 10th Anniversary Tour… "Putting Everything Aside for the Fans"

The group PENTAGON has announced the prelude to the world tour they are preparing for to mark their 10th debut anniversary. Recently, through their official channels, PENTAGON released behind-the-scenes videos of the poster shoot and VCR production for the 10th anniversary commemorative tour 'PENTAGON 10th Anniversary Tour ‘101010’', conveying the preparation process for their concert being held in Korea for the first time in four years.

"Deciding to Put Everything Aside for the Fans"... Solidarity Toward the Korean Performance After 4 Years

While preparing for this 10th anniversary project, the members of PENTAGON revealed the realistic concerns they felt and the solidarity used to overcome them. The members stated that although they had been steadily mentioning a tour since around their 8th anniversary, the actual preparation process took longer than expected due to complex situations such as environmental factors and time constraints. In particular, the Korean concert is the first since four years ago.

During the performance preparation process, the members engaged in deep discussions regarding the stage composition. Although the members faced realistic conditions, they coordinated their opinions by gathering the mindset of "wanting to make it happen no matter what." In particular, one member expressed affection for the team, saying, "Even if there is nothing, all we need is PENTAGON," and other members showed their determination to realize the stage by agreeing. The members added that they are working hard to ensure this performance becomes a stage that can stimulate nostalgia for fans, fitting for the title of a 10th anniversary.

First Transformation After Enlistment, Showing the Weight of the 10th Anniversary with 'Unconventional Visuals'

For this tour, the members attempted significant changes in their appearance as well. To increase the completeness of the 10th anniversary project, the members chose an unconventional transformation that breaks away from their existing styles. There are members who, for the first time since their enlistment, have dyed their hair in colors other than black, and a member who had maintained long hair after solo activities is transforming into short hair for this project, foreshadowing the atmosphere of the performance through visual changes.

At the poster shoot site, the members showed their changed appearance through matching outfits and structured poses for the first time in a long while. The leader boasted the teamwork, saying, "Since it has been a long time since we wore matching outfits and shot together with the members, it brought back old memories, and it was good to feel each other's warmth and have skinship." For this performance, the members are focusing on increasing the quality of the show by meticulously deciding everything from outfits, hair, and makeup to the setlist composition.

"Adapting to Acting"... A New Challenge Continuing with VCR Filming

At the VCR (video) filming site, which will increase the immersion of the concert, the members' unique sides were observed. The members expressed both excitement and anxiety at the same time regarding the full-scale acting shoot, which they are attempting for the first time during their seven-plus years of activity. While saying, "The process of having to act things that are not visible is not easy," they expressed the joy of a new challenge, saying, "It is fun to be able to act as someone other than myself."

The members conveyed their desire for this 10th anniversary tour to be more than just a performance, but a place to breathe together with fans and celebrate the past time. PENTAGON emphasized that they are doing their best to prepare ahead of the world tour schedule, which starts in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, and continues to Seoul, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Paris, and Berlin.
