Former national rhythmic gymnast Shin Su-jin has stood on the mat once again, breaking a long 15-year hiatus. Moving beyond a simple performance, she moved the audience by proving the legendary movements her body still remembers.

The stage reported by TV CHOSUN's 'Ten Million Masters Show' began with the return of Shin Su-jin, a former national rhythmic gymnast currently active as a sportainer. Shin Su-jin is the individual who first earned an Olympic qualification on her own merit in the history of Korean rhythmic gymnastics, and was called a 'living legend' as she recorded the highest scores ever at that time. After retiring, she has been active as a professional bowler and has challenged various sports such as golf, tennis, and pickleball, and she stepped onto the rhythmic gymnastics mat once again for this stage.

"Senses the body remembers"... A challenge transcending 15 years of time

Before taking the stage, Shin Su-jin honestly confessed the weight of the 15-year period. While attempting techniques again, she said, "It was shocking how stiff my body has become." She also revealed that it was not an easy process, to the point where she took painkillers to maintain her body's flexibility due to the long hiatus. Currently active in multiple sports, she expressed the difficulty of the challenge, saying, "It is hard enough to do just one sport, so moving between multiple sports and doing rhythmic gymnastics again is truly difficult."

However, her appearance just before the stage dispelled those concerns. Showing flexibility by lifting her leg high even before the door opened, she revealed that her body still remembers the techniques. The cast members who prepared the stage together also looked on with expectant eyes, saying, "Teacher Su-ji flies on stage," anticipating her enduring skills.

Swan-like elegance and an overwhelming ending... A thrilling return stage

As the main stage began, Shin Su-jin filled the mat with movements as elegant as a 'swan'. Flexible and precise movements followed, making the 15-year gap seem irrelevant, and in particular, the final ending scene where she rotated twice in the air before landing gave thrills to the cast members present. Those watching the stage offered praise, saying, "The word 'beautiful' suits her," and "Class is permanent."

Immediately after the stage, Shin Su-jin shared her thoughts, saying, "My legs were trembling because I was working so hard," revealing the energy she poured into the perfect performance. This stage is deeply meaningful in that it goes beyond simple entertainment value, representing a marvelous return by a national athlete who once dominated an era, shown in her own field of expertise.

According to the judging results conducted that day, Shin Su-jin earned 60 points from the judging panel, leading 'Team Otaku' to victory. On the mat she returned to after 15 years, she recreated her past glory and wrote her own new record.
