Teen Top looked back on 5,933 days since their debut in an episode of Idol Appearance released by 1theK Originals, revisiting the tightly synchronized performances that earned them a reputation as the original precision-dancing idols.

The four-member boy group, which debuted on July 10, 2010, shared memories of its performances and the members’ personal histories ahead of its 16th debut anniversary. The conversation also brought candid reflections on life in entertainment, including NIEL’s view that he would not become a celebrity if he were born again.

Recalling his experience of debuting at a young age, NIEL said that feeling remained unchanged today. Other stories highlighted the demanding preparation before the group’s debut: RICKY was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules as a trainee, putting his debut in jeopardy, while repeated viewings of choreography videos for practice wore down a remote control’s play button.

Watching footage of earlier performances, the members revisited the details behind their choreography. Teen Top attracted attention at debut both as a group described as the youngest boy group at the time and for its distinctive precision in synchronized dancing.

The members expressed amazement at fans’ interpretations of their choreography. They discussed a formation centered on CHUNJI, with lines of sight crossing around him, and fans’ readings that certain movements seemed to represent CHUNJI. Those interpretations prompted them to reflect on how fully realized the choreography was.

Having started as a six-member group and now performing as four, they also recalled earlier stages with elaborate formations and retraced how those performances worked.

The conversation turned to nicknames and lesser-known parts of the members’ histories. NIEL recalled being called “lip fairy” and “fish” because of his full lips. CHUNJI discussed a nickname from the group’s Supa Luv promotions, along with an anecdote about search difficulties involving his name during a YouTube livestream.

RICKY recalled appearing as a child actor in a Seo Taiji and Boys music video and winning the role against strong competition.

CHUNJI also revisited his endearingly clumsy appearances on variety programs such as Let's Go! Dream Team. His recollections of those moments, and an anecdote about difficulties arising from his limited bicycle-riding skills, drew laughter among the members.
