"I can run even from the other side of the world" Loco delivers a romantic confession
Rapper Loco revealed the recording process for his new song 'TATA', a collaboration with RESCENE's Minami that expresses his romantic feelings for his wife living far away.

Rapper Loco has revealed the recording process for his new song 'TATA', which contains his feelings for someone far away. This song is a collaboration between Loco and Minami (RESCENE), and it is characterized by expressing the determination to run anywhere even if they are far away through the onomatopoeia 'tatatata', which mimics the sound of footsteps.
A romantic message for his wife in Copenhagen
Loco shared a personal story regarding the background of this new song's creation. Mentioning his wife, who currently resides in Copenhagen, he revealed that he put into the song the feeling that although they are far apart, he can run to her at any time. Having created the song while watching the sunset on Jeju Island, he explained the mood of the song as "a feeling where you can sing happily because it is for someone you can meet." He added that when he first received the demo, he was requested to sing with a clear and clean feeling.

Collaboration with Minami, directing toward 'simplicity'
At the recording site, the musical chemistry between Loco and Minami continued. Loco created a comfortable atmosphere, telling Minami that it would be best for her to sing in her own style. In the process of setting the direction of the song, Loco emphasized 'simplicity' and 'purity' rather than excessive technique. When singing the phrase "I can run," he expressed the opinion that it would be better to express it naturally and cleanly rather than putting too much emphasis on the point. He also showed a positive reaction toward Minami's voice, saying, "I feel good because her voice is so good."
Between perfectionism and freestyle, Loco's changed working method
Loco also mentioned a change in his working method. He confessed that while he was previously a thorough planner (J) type who wrote lyrics perfectly before recording, he has now changed to a freestyle method where he turns on the recording button and moves according to the flow of the scene. He has gained the flexibility to move straight to the next step if the lyrics are so complete that there is nothing to correct. He expressed his ambition for his work, saying, "I pursue perfection, but I am always staying in the gap between them."
Meanwhile, Loco is handling a non-stop schedule ahead of his comeback this November. He shared his busy current status, saying, "The schedule continues for the November comeback."
