CUTIE STREET presents 'Self-Introduction Song' stage created through members' surveys

CUTIE STREET, a group belonging to the Japanese idol project 'KAWAII LAB.', presented a special stage where the members personally defined one another. Having debuted in August 2024, they recently released a live video through their official channel for the song 'きゅーすとのうた' (Kyusuto no Uta), which was produced based on the results of a survey conducted among the members.

The recently released 'きゅーすとのうた' differs from typical idol song compositions. The lyrics and concept of the song were created based on the contents of a survey the members conducted about each other. This is meaningful in that it is not simply acting out fixed characters, but rather expressing through music the images and charms of one another as seen by their fellow members.

In the video, the members express their unique characteristics through the song lyrics and performance. Segments where the relationships between members and their individual personalities are revealed follow, serving as an opportunity to expand the meaning of the group name—'the me I want to express (CUTIE)' and 'the street where I can go anywhere (STREET)'—into the individual narratives of each member.

Eight colors of individuality, member characteristics melted into lyrics and performance

The stage proceeds in a way that highlights each individual member's character. In the video, scenes follow where members point to each other and mention their characteristics. For example, specific members are chosen as 'fashion leaders,' members who are good at 'robot dance,' or defined as 'mood makers,' with these specific images seen by their colleagues serving as motifs for the lyrics and choreography.

In particular, segments revealing the bond between the members stand out. The members fill the stage by chanting each other's names or performing gestures that emphasize the charms of specific members. This is read as a process of visually proving the cohesion and mutual understanding of the group, which is heading toward its third year, beyond a simple performance. As each member's background (influencer, actor, dancer, etc.) is different, the results of how they interpret each other are implemented on stage.

Announcement of Arena Tour and 2027 Solo Concert in Korea

Along with the release of this stage, CUTIE STREET also announced large-scale activity plans. This is the news of holding the arena tour 'CUTIE LAND 2026 -AUTUMN-', the largest scale in the group's history. This tour is scheduled to take place a total of 13 times across 7 cities throughout Japan, including Yokohama Arena, Ariake Arena, and Marine Messe Fukuoka.

News for Korean fans was also included. The group announced that they will hold a solo concert, 『CUTIE STREET Live in Korea 2027 WINTER』, on January 23, 2027, at KINTEX Hall 9 in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do. Pre-sale for this performance is scheduled to be conducted for KAWAII LAB. global membership members, which is interpreted as a move showing the intention to expand into the global market beyond local activities in Japan.
