The band Far East Asian Tigers has released a live clip capturing the energy of their stage at the 2026 Busan International Rock Festival held this past October 4. Uploaded via the Far East Asian Tigers YouTube channel, the video features a lyric version of their performance of the song "Smell of Rain."
Live performance of 'Smell of Rain' capturing the atmosphere of the 2026 Busan International Rock Festival
The released video records the moment "Smell of Rain" was performed on the stage of the 2026 Busan International Rock Festival. The performance features Myeong Ji-su on vocals, accompanied by Gonggyeok (bass), Yeon Gwang-mo (drums), and Luke Kang (guitar). The video focuses on conveying the atmosphere of the performance as the lyrics flow across the screen.

The lyrics of the song repeat the sentence, "So that we can truly meet someday, in a place where there is the smell of rain," singing of the longing and emotions surrounding a meeting. The lyrics convey a sentiment of singing a small song alone while holding the heart that one is moving toward another, and the desire to reach one's inner self while smelling the scent of rain as the day passes. In particular, a sense of waiting for a chance to meet the beginning again someday in a place where the smell of rain lingers flows throughout the song.
A record of the performance realized with media art
This live clip appears to have put significant effort into visual direction beyond being a simple performance record. Kim Gyeong-min (burning bunnies) handled the media art VJing to add visual elements to the stage, while drone filming was used to capture the sense of space at the venue. GANZGOM Studio was in charge of production to complete the on-site recording of the performance. The photography for the video production process was carried out by Deurimong (@_dreamong_).

The production team for this video included Executive Producer Kim Ha-na and sound engineer Park Hui-won, who worked to realize the sound and visual beauty of the performance. Through this video, Far East Asian Tigers have left a record that allows one to revisit the emotions of the "Smell of Rain" stage, where they breathed in unison with the audience at the festival.
