TWS Unveils Characters 'TWIMI', Featuring Unique Details Designed by the Members Themselves

The group TWS has unveiled their official characters, 'TWIMI', introducing the specific settings and design elements contained within the characters themselves. These characters carry the meaning of 'Three Four Seven With Minimi', and are characterized by the fact that the members directly participated in the design process to reflect their respective traits.

5 Character Settings Projecting the Members' Traits

In the video, the members explained the details regarding each character's name, appearance, and personality. The characters were created using the members' appearances or daily habits as motifs.

First, 'Happy' is a puppy character that wants to resemble a jellyfish; reflecting the fact that a member likes jellyfish, it wears a light blue cape. The cape functions as wings, and a mole under the character's eye reproduces a member's characteristic mole under the eye. The personality is set to be passionate and dislikes being lazy.

The second character is 'Hanjin Rabbit', which combines a member's name with a rabbit. It is set to be capable of flight depending on the situation as it has detachable wings, and possesses a considerate personality. Specific tastes, such as liking taking photos and skin care, were also established.

The third, 'Gichun', is a character motivated by a guinea pig. The mole on the cheek is shaped like a watermelon seed, and it is characterized by wearing a watermelon bag. The personality, which likes tidiness and dislikes rude behavior, resembles the member's image. A strawberry-shaped detail is included on the character's paw.

The fourth, 'Jjok', is a character characterized by having a mole on the chin, and the name was taken from a word frequently used by the members. It has strawberry details on its hat, and possesses an introverted and shy personality.

The fifth, 'Dojuni', is a character that captures the feeling of a 'scruffy puppy' (ddong-gang-aji), inspired by the appearance at the time of debut that looked like a 'dirty puppy'. It reproduces the layered cut hairstyle and the beanie that the member usually wears, and was given a playful trendsetter personality.

Finally, 'Haemtaengi' took its name from the member's nickname, hamster. It is characterized by brown points, bright eyes, and cheek fat, and was designed appearing to wear an apron that the member usually wears. Additionally, a setting was added where it has a glowing tail. This tail carries the meaning of lighting up the path.

Character Utilization Leading to a Pouch Decorating Battle

After the character introduction, the members proceeded with an activity to decorate pouches using the TWIMI characters. Taking the characters' worldview, 'The Journey to Find the Legendary Treasure Map of the Dead Sea', as a theme, the members completed pouches of different styles.

The members revealed their individual personalities using colors and details. Designs using yellow and white combinations, designs using props such as coffee and sunglasses, designs using watermelon parts, and designs using flowers and trees were presented. In particular, certain members continued the decorating activity by adding details such as putting dumplings in the character's mouth or placing strawberries on the cheeks. Also, certain members expressed the house where the character lives in a cute way, or used a sky background considering the situation where the character goes to the forest.

As a result of the activity, through the members' voting, Ji-yoon received the most votes and took the final victory. The members expressed their feelings, hoping that fans will enjoy the characters since they added their own touch to them.
