KickFlip releases behind-the-scenes footage for 2027 'Subway Boy' season greeting

KickFlip has shared filming footage for their 2027 season greeting, featuring a "Subway Boy" concept where members portray talented dancers and singers in everyday commuting settings. The group, which includes member Dong-a, plans to release the final product at the end of the year.

The group KickFlip has revealed scenes from the filming site of their first season greeting for 2027. The shoot was conducted under the concept of "boys who dance well in the seat next to you on the subway," an image that reflects a scenario one might commonly encounter in daily life.

'Subway Boy' concept reflects subway commuting experiences

The core theme of this 2027 season greeting presented by KickFlip is 'Subway Boy.' The members portrayed the image of boys who are skilled at dancing and singing amidst the everyday routine of using the subway. In particular, member Dong-a mentioned that his experience of traveling alone by subway since attending dance academies at age 11 helped contribute to the natural direction of the shoot through such "experience."

During the filming, members posed in outfits that highlighted their individual personalities. Wearing clothing suited to the concept, such as cropped short-sleeved shirts, the members moved between group and individual shoots. The members announced that this season greeting is scheduled to be released at the end of the year, noting that they are filming for fans who will encounter them while flipping through calendars each month.

Diverse individual shoots ranging from nostalgic moods to cute looks

In the individual shoots that followed the group photography, each member showcased a different atmosphere. One member, who was asked to present a calm and nostalgic feeling contrary to their usual style, shared their thoughts on the new attempt, stating, "While a laughing feeling is also good, personally, I prefer this kind of immersive atmosphere."

Another member utilized props such as paper airplanes, milk, and ice cream. They shared an episode of being told they were cute by the members during the group shoot, while also appearing joyful while eating ice cream during the filming. One member showed a serious attitude toward the shoot, saying, "Even in moments where I need to drop the facial expressions, I will remain professional."

KickFlip plans to capture the various sides of the members through this first season greeting. Upon finishing the shoot, the members left greetings asking for blessings from their fans.
