Boy group idntt will begin full-scale activities by releasing their new album 'itsnotover' through global music platforms worldwide at 6 PM on the 13th. Their agency, MODHAUS, stated, "idntt will release the new album 'itsnotover' on all global music platforms at 6 PM today, declaring the birth of the 20-member id."
This album goes beyond simply releasing new songs; it is a work that marks the birth of a new unit of the same name. idntt is a group consisting of 24 members who debuted last August. While they have previously revealed members in groups of 7 or 15, this activity will be carried out with a 20-member system. By increasing the number of members, they aim to showcase an even more dynamic performance.
The core of this album is to inherit and expand the narrative of idntt established through 'unevermet' and 'yesweare'. Following 'unevermet', which captured the excitement of coincidence, and 'yesweare', which affirmed youth and revealed themselves to the world, the new album 'itsnotover' will explode with the unending spirit of youth. Together with the unit itsnotover, they will deliver a wide spectrum of musical worlds, further solidifying their title as 'Street Culture Idols'.
On the day of the album release, the 13th, a comeback showcase will be held at 8 PM at the Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. idntt plans to meet fans directly at this event to celebrate the birth of the new work from the 'Street Culture Idols'.
Album Composition Includes 7 Songs, Including the Title Track 'Kids Return'
The title track 'Kids Return' carries the message that the boys have gathered their strength and returned. It is a song that directly inherits the street hip-hop DNA that serves as idntt's roots. It implements an upgraded sound by combining free-spirited grooves with a unique tension created by unexpected developments.
Seven B-side tracks diversely fill the album. Starting with the intro 'Twenty', which combines rock sounds with powerful vocals, the album includes 'Run It Up', the challenge of boys running forward without hesitation, and 'Lovestruck', which depicts the confusion and obsession of falling in love while crossing genre boundaries. This is followed by 'Trainspotting', which portrays both the beauty and precariousness of youth; 'It's Not Over', a unit song capturing the essence of a summer boy; and the final track 'Boys Gonna Dive', which depicts overcoming wounds and failures without fear.
Global Fancon Tour Schedule Continuing in Seoul and Japan in August
After completing their music program activities, idntt will expand their touchpoints with global fans. On August 8th and 9th, they will kick off the fancon tour '20' at the Yonsei University Grand Auditorium in Seoul.
Meanwhile, they will visit Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, on August 23rd and 26th, respectively, to meet global fans.
