NAKED, the agency in charge of management for this project, announced that Pentagon plans to release new music and embark on a tour for the first time in three years, marking the 10th anniversary. The members are set to present a new album as a full group, breaking a hiatus of about three years since the digital single 'Promise' released in 2023. Since their debut on October 10, 2016, they have been actively pursuing individual activities in various fields such as solo music releases, musicals, variety shows, and acting. With this 10th-anniversary project, new activities as a 7-member system will begin in earnest.

The seven members leading this 10th-anniversary project are Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Kino, and WOOSEOK. Pentagon, which first stepped out in 2016 as a 10-member group composed of multinational members, became a 9-member group following the departure of member E'Dawn in 2018. Subsequently, following the digital single 'Promise' in October 2023, their exclusive contract with their former agency Cube Entertainment expired, and team activities temporarily halted as some members did not renew their contracts. This project differs in that the team has been reorganized with the seven Korean members as the core, excluding Chinese member Yeanan and Japanese member Yuto.
The members have also proven their teamwork recently. At the '33rd Hanteo Music Awards 2025' held last February, they showed their enduring chemistry by performing together for the first time in about 2 years and 3 months. At that time, Pentagon also moved fans by winning in the '10th Anniversary - Influential Artist' category.
