Illit 'Magnetic' music video reaches 100 million views in 79 days
Illit's 'Magnetic' music video surpassed 100 million views just 79 days after its release. The group achieved its second career milestone, reaching this mark even faster than their debut song 'Magnetic'.
The music video for the group Illit's new song 'It's Me' has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube just 79 days after its release. Their agency, BELIFT LAB, announced that around 3:14 PM on the 18th, the music video for 'It's Me', the title track from Illit's fourth mini-album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI', surpassed 100 million views. This record was achieved in just over two months since the music video was first released on April 30.
Reaching 100 Million Views Faster Than 'Magnetic'
This achievement comes even faster than the trajectory shown by Illit's debut song 'Magnetic'. While 'Magnetic' brought the team its first music video to reach 100 million views, 'It's Me' demonstrated Illit's growth with an even faster record. 'It's Me', which marks the team's second time reaching the 100 million view milestone, is currently ranking high on the YouTube Global Popular Music Video charts.
'It's Me' is a techno-genre song that captures the moment of contemplating the definition of a relationship after a first date, boldly shouting, "Your bias is me!" The music video, characterized by its exciting melody and intense performance, shows members Im Yoon‐ah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha struggling in quirky ways to hear the answer "bias."
10 Consecutive Weeks on Billboard and Japanese Activities
The success continues on the music charts as well. 'It's Me' has remained at the top of major domestic music charts for nearly three months since its release. Global market performance has also been confirmed. The song has entered the US Billboard 'Global 200' and 'Global (Excl. US)' charts for 10 consecutive weeks (as of July 18), gaining support from international fandoms.
Illit is currently conducting their first debut tour in Japan, 'ILLIT LIVE ‘PRESS START♥’ in JAPAN'. Following this, they will release their second Japanese single, 'I Got Your Back', on the 26th.
