Big Bang Han River Fan Event to be held on the 19th to commemorate their 20th debut anniversary
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, BIGBANG will hold a fan event at Yeouido Hangang Park on August 19. First-come, first-served ticketing will take place on the Coupang Play app on the 28th.
The group BIGBANG will meet their fans by the Han River in Seoul to celebrate their 20th debut anniversary. On August 19 at 8 PM, Coupang Play will host the 'BIGBANG 20th Anniversary X Han River Collaboration with Coupang Play' event at the Mulbit Stage area in Yeouido Hangang Park, Seoul. This event was planned to coincide with August 19, the anniversary of BIGBANG's debut.
The event program is designed to highlight BIGBANG's 20 years of activity. Starting with a DJ performance reinterpreting their hit songs, the program will feature a history video capturing the group's career and media art visualizing the team's universe. It also includes a large-scale drone show and fireworks unfolding in the night sky over the Han River accompanied by an orchestra performance.
All seats free of charge, first-come-first-served reservation for Coupang Wow members
This 20th-anniversary commemorative event will be held with all seats free of charge. Coupang Wow members wishing to attend can make reservations through the Coupang Play mobile app starting from 7 PM on the 28th. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, and although admission is free, reservation holders must directly bear a separate reservation fee.
To ensure smooth operation, Coupang Play has restricted access to the reservation page to only one device per account. On the day of the event, attendees must bring a valid ID for identity verification to enter. Seats canceled after reservation will reappear on the reservation page after a certain period of time.
A pre-event ahead of the Goyang World Tour
This Han River event is a pre-event announcing the start of BIGBANG's first solo world tour in nine years. BIGBANG will hold the first performance of their world tour 'XX : COSMOS' for three days from August 21 to 23 at the Goyang Stadium Main Stadium in Gyeonggi-do. The Goyang performance start times are 7:30 PM on the 21st and 22nd, and 7 PM on the 23rd.
During the previous ticket reservation for the Goyang performance, the number of simultaneous users reached 210,000. This event is hosted by YG Entertainment and co-hosted by Coupang Play, the sponsor of the Goyang concert. BIGBANG recently ranked first in the Star Trend K-POP group category daily vote, receiving 265,521 votes.
