KickFlip, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and And2ble to Perform at SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer Special

Next-generation K-POP rookies KickFlip, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and And2ble are set to take the stage at the '2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer' on August 9 at KINTEX in Ilsan. They will headline 'Red Summer Night,' a core stage of this festival, showcasing performances that capture each team's unique identity.

This 'Red Summer Night' is more than just a series of covers. KickFlip, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and And2ble have prepared a relay stage to reinterpret legendary K-POP summer anthems in their own signature styles. Notably, the members were directly involved in every step of the process, from song selection to stage planning, to ensure a high-quality performance.

'Red Summer Night' Prepared by Three Rookie Groups

KickFlip, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and And2ble are the rising stars currently drawing significant attention in the music industry. The highlight of this stage will be how these three groups interpret the theme of 'summer' through their distinct musical colors and performances.

Commenting on their preparation, the production team stated, "These next-generation rookies, possessing exceptional talent and passion, are preparing a special stage to reinterpret legendary summer hits with their own unique charms." They added, "Please look forward to the 'Red Summer Night' special stage that will paint the summer night red and hot."

August 9 at KINTEX: A Star-Studded Lineup

2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer will be held on Sunday, August 9, at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do. The lineup for this event, which brings together the artists and rising stars who illuminated the K-POP scene in the first half of the year, includes Red Velvet, SKZ, Ateez, ZB1, RIIZE, Babymonster, KISS OF LIFE, Nexz, MEOVV, and izna.

Solo and unit performances will also follow. Seventeen's Dino, DAY6's Wonpil, NCT's Taeyong and Ten, and BIBI will take the stage, alongside Choi Ye-na, Xikers, and NCT Wish. The special stages will also feature Hearts2Hearts' I-an and Stella, izna's Bang Jeemin, and MEOVV's Ella and Anna. The MCs for this event will be RIIZE's Sungchan, NCT Wish's Si-on, and Hearts2Hearts' I-an.

Special Stage Composition and Participating Artists

In addition to KickFlip, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and And2ble, artists such as Baby DONT Cry, AxMxP, IDID, and Evando will also participate in the special stages. KickFlip, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and And2ble will perform together as a single special stage under the title 'Red Summer Night.'

The concept for their special stage was revealed through SBS's official social media accounts on July 27. Previously, the special stages for Hearts2Hearts' I-an and Stella, izna's Bang Jeemin, and MEOVV's Ella and Anna had already been announced. This event is a major annual K-POP music festival hosted by SBS every summer.
