Risené Ranks 1st in July Rising Singer Brand Reputation, CORTIS Dominates Hanteo Chart Weekly World Album Charts

Risené, the rookie girl group, has claimed the top spot in the July Rising Singer Brand Reputation rankings. According to an analysis of 63,317,152 pieces of big data collected by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute from June 29 to July 29, 2026, Risené garnered the highest consumer interest with a brand reputation index of 5,859,126.

Comprised of Woni, LIV, Minami, Kang Hyeju, and Jena, Risené recorded 1,004,279 points in participation, 1,547,559 in media, 1,753,142 in communication, and 1,554,146 in community. Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, noted that Risené "led a resurgence on music charts based on their image as an 'entertainment-style' girl group nurtured by fans." Risené's index saw an 8.00% decrease compared to the 6,368,697 points recorded in June.

CORTIS Dominates Hanteo Chart Weekly World and Album Charts Simultaneously

CORTIS, which ranked second in brand reputation, stood out in chart performance. Comprised of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Geonho, CORTIS swept both the weekly World and Album charts on the Hanteo Chart for the fourth week of July (July 20–26). In the weekly World Album category, CORTIS earned a world index of 13,024.49, outpacing second-place Jennie (10,690.00) and third-place fromis_9 (8,816.32). Director Koo Chang-hwan stated that CORTIS "has grown its presence on global music charts through activities that break away from the traditional idol formula."

Album sales are also record-breaking. CORTIS recorded a weekly album index of 194,313.52 with its second mini-album ‘GreenGreen,’ with sales reaching 134,325 copies during the period. The second spot on this week's album chart was taken by fromis_9's second full-length album ‘Glow ME’ with an album index of 129,099.20 (93,964 copies sold). Third place went to Lunatte's fourth mini-album ‘Off the Grid,’ which recorded an album index of 91,183.50 (79,290 copies sold).

I.O.I and Trot Singers Compete for Top Spots

The third spot was claimed by the project group I.O.I. Comprised of Jeon Somi, KIMSEJEONG, Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Chung-ha, Kim So-hye, Joo Kyul-kyung, Chaeyeon, Kim Do-yeon, Kang Mina, Nayoung, and Yoo Yeon-jung, I.O.I earned a total of 2,655,810 points, combining 129,328 in participation, 401,222 in media, 1,159,071 in communication, and 966,189 in community. Director Koo Chang-hwan explained that I.O.I "generated buzz by creating new memes based on the long-standing expectations of their fans." I.O.I saw the sharpest decline among the top tier, with its index plummeting by 55.06% compared to last month.

Kim Yong-bin ranked fourth with a brand reputation index of 2,521,850. His breakdown included 196,366 in participation, 452,732 in media, 1,001,859 in communication, and 878,093 in community, representing a 44.69% decrease from the previous month. Park Ji-hyun maintained his position in the top tier, ranking fifth with 2,222,831 points, consisting of 347,158 in participation, 495,784 in media, 872,138 in communication, and 507,751 in community. Park Ji-hyun also saw a 44.39% decline compared to the previous month.

The scale of the big data for the rising singer brand analyzed this time was 63,317,152, a 24.22% decrease from June (83,556,347). Specifically, brand consumption decreased by 35.93%, brand issue by 15.27%, brand communication by 25.49%, and brand diffusion by 25.16%. Director Koo Chang-hwan stated, "The July rising singer brand reputation analysis shows Risené in first place. The big data scale for the rising singer brand category decreased by 24.22% compared to the previous month, and all major indicators, including brand consumption, brand issue, brand communication, and brand diffusion, have declined."

The top 30 also included WOODZ, Sungri, Hanroro, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, Jang Han-byeol, Kiki, RIIZE, Hearts2Hearts, Hwasa, BIBI, DAY6, NCT, D.O., NMIXX, BABYMONSTER, AKMU, Choi Yee-na, Roy Kim, Park Seo-jin, Rowoon, ECLIPSE, 10CM, Woody, and Lee Chang-sub.
