CLASS:y shows strong member chemistry following their long-awaited comeback stage on Music Core
The playful chemistry shown by CLASS:y members as they shared moments of tension and emotion behind the scenes of their Music Core comeback stage.
The group CLASS:y showcased their close bond between members behind the scenes of a music broadcast. Returning to the music show stage after some time, the members expressed both the excitement and nervousness of their comeback, sharing their joy at seeing fans again.
Playful Banter Melts the Tension
In the waiting room of "Show! Music Core," the members of CLASS:y shared the intense atmosphere ahead of their first comeback performance. One member confessed to feeling exceptionally nervous, noting that while she usually needs a one or two-hour nap after hair and makeup, she couldn't sleep at all this time. The members also expressed deep gratitude as the production crew welcomed them warmly during their first music show appearance since November and December 2024. Amidst the crew's encouragement, the members exchanged playful jokes, jokingly suggesting they should hold a vote to see who worked the hardest.
Small moments from their stage preparation were also revealed. After finishing their stage, the members shared meals or continued their conversations using squishy toys known as "mallangi." In particular, Yoon Chaewon spent a fun time with the members while introducing her collection of squishies. The members relieved their pre-stage pressure by playing word games, such as making two-line or three-line acrostic poems using each other's names, and exchanging playful banter. The atmosphere in the waiting room brightened even further as they made acrostic poems using Yoon Sewon's name, such as "Live ethically" and "Live like you're shredding vegetables, Chaewon."
Chemistry Through Squishies and Hobbies
The subtle differences in the members' personal tastes also caught attention. Regarding their criteria for choosing squishies, the members shared their preferences, noting they weren't fond of the types that bounce back instantly like rubber balls. From Yoon Chaewon carrying a chestnut-shaped squishy to members jokingly shouting, "The song must be a hit!" while looking at a popped squishy, the scenes showcased their relaxed demeanor behind the scenes. Additionally, seeing a member healing while playing "Moyeora Island," received as a comeback gift, added a sense of relatability for fans.
Even amidst these casual conversations, the members did not hide their affection for one another. The behind-the-scenes video captured the individual charms of each member, from the older members looking adorable when praised to the fresh looks achieved by changing contact lenses. Their playful teasing using each other's names and communication through small props proved the depth of CLASS:y's teamwork.
Emotional Moments Behind the Stage
After finishing their performance, the members candidly shared the emotions they felt while immersing themselves in the song's atmosphere. Because the song's sad sentiment was so deeply conveyed, there were moments immediately after the stage where they had to hold back tears. One member shared the overwhelming emotion she felt while making eye contact with her members on stage, confessing that she poured everything into the performance—to the point where her legs were shaking and she felt nauseous as she walked down from the stage.
The members emphasized the sense of solidarity they felt while looking at each other on stage. One member drew laughter by mentioning how she gave Choi Won a "greasy" look at the end, while another recalled the exciting moment of making eye contact with Jimin. The process of completing the stage by making eye contact and sharing high-fives was more than enough to demonstrate CLASS:y's unique teamwork. Having successfully completed their comeback stage, the members encouraged one another and strengthened their resolve for their upcoming activities.
