BusinessOn to develop task-performing AI agents in collaboration with Motif Technologies

BusinessOn is embarking on the development of 'AI Agents' that directly perform corporate practical tasks in collaboration with AI technology company Motif Technologies. The plan is to establish a next-generation B2B SaaS model that goes beyond simple question-and-answer sessions to understand business processes and connect them to execution.

Beyond simple answers to task execution... Transition to 'Action-oriented AI'

BusinessOn and Motif Technologies announced on the 30th that they have signed a business agreement for joint research on AI-based corporate task execution SaaS. This collaboration is a follow-up measure to concretize the AI-centered B2B SaaS transition being pursued by BusinessOn into technical cooperation and business model discovery stages.

The core goal of both companies is to transition existing 'assistive AI' into 'action-oriented AI.' While existing AI has remained at the level of answering questions or providing information, the AI agents to be developed aim for a method that analyzes information required for tasks, drafts documents, and then connects to follow-up tasks upon user approval.

BusinessOn plans to utilize its accumulated capabilities in digitizing core corporate tasks such as electronic tax invoices, electronic contracts, finance/accounting, and electronic approval. By combining this with the large-scale AI foundation models, LLM (Large Language Model), and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technologies held by Motif Technologies, they plan to implement AI agents that perform actual work.

Building an enterprise AI platform focused on security and control

As AI is introduced into core corporate business processes, security and control functions are included as key design elements. Sensitive tasks such as electronic signatures, tax invoice issuance, payments/transfers, and electronic approval will be designed so that they are executed only with the explicit approval of the user according to authority and approval procedures. This is intended to create a structure where the AI performs the work, but humans maintain control during important decision-making and final execution stages.

Through this collaboration, BusinessOn's strategy is to evolve the corporate workflow—running from electronic contracts to electronic tax invoices, finance/tax/accounting, ERP, and electronic approval—into a 'Corporate Task AI Platform' where AI agents connect everything as one. AI functions such as automatic account recommendation, automatic tax code mapping, and expense estimation are already applied to major solutions.
