CJ Logistics to Handle Logistics for Karrot 'Karrot Festival'... Supporting Second-hand Transactions with O-NE System

CJ Logistics is joining forces with the local community platform Karrot to support logistics for peer-to-peer second-hand transactions. CJ Logistics announced on the 30th that it will exclusively manage the logistics infrastructure for the 'Karrot Festival' event to be held by Karrot on October 10.

Delivery Support for 'Karrot Festival' and Deployment of O-NE Infrastructure

This event was planned with the goal of revitalizing peer-to-peer transactions. On the day of the event, customers using Karrot's 'Buy Now' service can conduct transactions up to 5 times per person without the burden of shipping costs. This benefit is automatically applied at the payment stage without a separate application process, but the event may end early if the prepared volume is exhausted.

To handle the cargo volume generated during the event period, CJ Logistics will apply its seven-day-a-week transportation system, 'O-NE'. The operation works in a way where the seller requests a pickup through the app, and a designated driver collects the item and delivers it to the buyer. Through this, the company plans to increase the delivery convenience occurring during peer-to-peer transactions.

Continuous Growth in Cargo Volume Following Nationwide Service Expansion

The cooperation between the two companies began at the time of the service launch last September. Since the transaction scope expanded to a nationwide level this March, the related cargo volume has been recording double-digit growth every month. CJ Logistics plans to continuously expand the touchpoints for peer-to-peer logistics by combining its hub network with the O-NE system.
