Strengthening Cooperation with European Institutions and Operating Content Experience Programs
CJ ENM announced on the 17th that it participated in the ‘2026 Korea-Poland Brand Week’ held in Poland from the 15th to the 16th (local time). This event was hosted by the Polish Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by KOCCA.
During the event, CJ ENM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean Cultural Center in Poland and KOCCA to spread K-content within Poland. This agreement was pursued with the purpose of expanding exchanges with public institutions in Europe and broadening the base of K-content through various activities such as content screenings and introductions.
On-site, various programs utilizing major works from CJ ENM were conducted. Experience booths for the dramas 'Lovely Runner' and 'The Legend of Kitchen Soldier' were operated, providing visitors with the opportunity to experience the content within the works. Additionally, a special screening of 'The Legend of Kitchen Soldier' was held along with a talk session featuring Studio Dragon CP Kim Tae-hoon, who communicated with visitors by introducing the planning and production processes of the work.
Signing Content Supply Agreements with Czechia and Slovakia Broadcasters
Through this event, the company also achieved results in securing broadcasting networks in the Central and Eastern Europe region. CJ ENM has formed partnerships with 'TV Nova' in Czechia and 'TV Markíza' in Slovakia to supply a total of 10 popular library content titles.
Kim Do-hyun, Head of the CJ ENM Content Distribution BU, stated that it was meaningful to be able to establish a foundation for cooperation to spread K-content in Poland by interacting with local institutions and content industry officials during this event. He continued by saying that they will continue to cooperate closely with local partners to introduce various CJ ENM contents and continuously expand opportunities for European viewers to encounter K-content more closely.
CJ ENM is expanding the overseas distribution of K-content based on partnerships with global broadcasters and OTT platforms. In particular, the company plans to strengthen content distribution and partnerships in the global market, including Europe, based on localization strategies that consider the market environment and viewer characteristics of each country.
