The daily life of the group TEMPEST, spent roaming through various spaces in Seongsu-dong, has been revealed. This journey consisted of a two-hour Seongsu-dong course starting with a comic book cafe and continuing to restaurants and prop shops.
Childhood nostalgia enjoyed with comic books and games
The TEMPEST members visiting Seongsu-dong first visited a comic book cafe. The members shared memories, mentioning series they read during their childhood such as 'Treasure Hunt', 'Scary Is Just Right', and the 'Survival' series. While choosing comic books, one member selected 'Jujutsu Kaisen', which they usually enjoy reading, to check the progression of the story.
At the comic book cafe, they also had time to enjoy games along with snacks. The members immersed themselves in games while eating menus accompanied by boneless chicken with Pringles seasoning, nachos, and more. As a result of the games, the members showed joy as they tied for first place. One member shared their thoughts, saying it was a pleasant experience as it felt like returning to their childhood to play after a long time.
Vietnamese food tasted in Seongsu-dong and a prop shop tour
The meal menu was decided as Vietnamese food. The members continued their meal by ordering Hanwoo rice noodles, spicy rice noodles, and Banh Xeo. One member shared an anecdote about visiting this place to try on pants they had seen online in Seongsu-dong recently, revealing that the clothes they are currently wearing are those very pants.
After the meal, they visited a prop shop to look at cute items. The members showed interest in cute props shaped like avocados, potatoes, cabbages, and peas. In particular, they noted that 'malrang-i' (squishy) products, which are touched to relieve stress or stabilize the mind and body, are gaining popularity, and they also shared stories that sunflower props bring good energy.
After finishing the prop shop tour along the alleys of Seongsu-dong, TEMPEST concluded their schedule in Seongsu-dong by enjoying Mexican food and milk tea. The members said it was a pleasant experience because the weather was good, and noted that it was a meaningful time as it was the first time three of the members had wandered around together.
