Jiwon, a member of the group fromis_9, visited the School of Performing Arts Seoul and transformed into a student teacher. In a video released by the YouTube channel Workman, Jiwon spent a special day delivering stage know-how she has accumulated as an active idol to her juniors.

“How to catch your breath even after intense choreography”… Practical know-how shared during vocal class

Jiwon explained, "I tend to (fill the sound) even after dancing intensely," adding, "The pressure that can firmly catch your breath is important." Along with specific methods for warming up the throat before a performance or going on stage, she practiced with the students how to produce sound by carrying the pitch with steady breathing. While monitoring the students' singing, Jiwon provided feedback such as, "The consonant 'j' (ㅈ) sounds a bit strong." She also mentioned the habit of looking at the lyrics first to analyze what kind of song it is before singing with emotion.

“When acting, the feeling of looking at the other person is important”… Participating in the Acting and Film department class

Following the vocal class, Jiwon also participated in the acting class for students of the Acting and Film department. Matching the characteristics of the major that deals with emotions, Jiwon watched the students' monologue performances and emphasized concentration when acting.

After watching a student's monologue, Jiwon pointed out that "when acting, the feeling that I am truly looking at something is very important," noting how the gaze toward the other person and the reason for it were well explained. She also mentioned her experience appearing in the musical 'Hell's Kitchen' and spoke about the tension that was different from an idol stage. Jiwon shared her experience, saying, "Standing on stage as a musical actor was very different from standing on stage as an idol," and explained that she was so nervous during a performance that she marked a single dot and continued singing and acting while looking at that dot.

“I endured by living in a jjimjilbang for a month”… Sharing passion for the dream

In response to questions from juniors dreaming of becoming idols, Jiwon spoke honestly about her past. She motivated the students by sharing the hardships she faced when she first came up from Busan to begin her trainee life.

Jiwon recalled the days when she devoted herself to practice while traveling between Busan and Seoul, saying, "In the beginning, I even lived in a jjimjilbang for about a month." She explained the process of passing an audition through an academy in Busan and coming up, then going back down to Busan every weekend to study before coming back up to continue practicing. Jiwon offered sincere encouragement to students moving toward their dreams, saying, "I am working very hard, sweating a lot, to get to this position now."
