Han Ga-in Reveals 23-Year Jewelry Collection for First Time, Says She Has No Wedding Ring
Han Ga-in shared her jewelry collection publicly for the first time, showing pieces she has bought over 23 years. She discussed her preference for practical designs and lab-grown diamonds, and said she has no wedding ring.

Actor Han Ga-in has publicly revealed her jewelry collection for the first time, opening a large box of pieces accumulated over 23 years and saying she has no wedding ring.
In a video on her YouTube channel, Free Woman Han Ga-in, she presented jewelry she bought herself, without sponsorships or advertising. She said she began collecting pieces gradually around age 22, when she started acting.
Finding sparkle as vitality fades
Explaining her affection for jewelry, Han Ga-in said, “As I get older and the sparkle in me fades, I find myself liking another kind of sparkle.” As with her love of flowers, she said she seeks the vitality she feels is fading from her in sparkling objects.

She favors thin, understated pieces suitable for everyday wear over bold, elaborate styles. Comfort during exercise also matters, she said, so she looks for practical designs she can keep on for at least a week, including while sleeping and showering.
The value of gold is another consideration. Referring to the recent rise in gold prices, she jokingly took an investment-minded view of her collection, suggesting that older purchases might now be worth more than she paid, even accounting for setting costs.

Designer labels and reasonably priced diamonds
Alongside luxury brands, Han Ga-in shops at reasonably priced domestic designer labels. She introduced COLDFRAME, a recent favorite, highlighting earrings with different colors on either side that allow her to choose between gold and white gold depending on the occasion. She cautioned, however, that the thin pieces can bend or break.
SSIL makes up the largest share of her collection. Discussing a snake-chain necklace, she said, “I used to avoid them because I thought they might make me look older, but now they come in thin, casual styles that are good for people in their 20s, too.” She also showed a necklace whose pendant holds interchangeable pieces shaped like a wine glass, a heart and an oasis, allowing her to switch them to suit her mood.
For diamonds, she said she prefers lab-grown stones and wears them most often. “I no longer really see a reason to choose natural diamonds,” she said, describing lab-grown diamonds as reasonably priced and of such good quality that they are difficult to distinguish even under a microscope. She chooses simple, modern designs from brands carrying lab-grown diamonds, including Honest Seoul.
“I don’t have a wedding ring”
Asked about her wedding ring during the tour, Han Ga-in answered directly: “I don’t have a wedding ring.” She suggested her husband was probably keeping it, without elaborating, and said she currently wears no ring.
She also shared an anecdote that drew laughter, recalling how she had pleaded with her husband early in their marriage to let her get a navel piercing, only to be turned down. “My husband doesn’t particularly like nail care, flashy jewelry or tattoos,” she said, explaining that a navel piercing had been a difficult proposal for him to accept.
She eventually decided she would at least pierce her ears and went through with it. Later, she became concerned after hearing at a Korean medicine clinic that piercings might be bad for her health.
Han Ga-in closed the video by sharing her shopping habits: discovering designer brands through her Instagram algorithm and buying through live broadcasts timed to sale periods.
