'Salon De Nabi' Episode 9: "If You Really Liked Me, You Couldn't Sleep," Heroine Tells Man Who Sent Her Home

"You only like me that much. If you really liked me, you couldn't sleep a wink all night," the female lead says in episode 9 of the JTBC drama "Salon De Nabi," as she and a male character clash sharply over how he behaved after their intimacy.

"Go home" after the night together

DRAMA Voyage shared the episode 9 video, which shows the male character demanding that the woman leave right after they sleep together, and her pushing back, humiliated. He coldly tells her, "You, go home." She responds with hurt, asking, "Why are you being like this?" When he presses with "You've had what you came for, so go now," she finally lets out the feelings she had been holding back. "You humiliated me," she says. Of being told to go right after, she asks, "Am I a prostitute? You tell me to leave once it's done?" using blunt language to show her displeasure.

Mismatched feelings, and a spark over ramen

The conflict starts with the two failing to understand each other's attitude. While checking whether she liked him, the man brought up something she had said in the past. The woman pointed to the situation in which there had been a misunderstanding that he liked a character named Mo Yeo-ri, arguing that he was failing to look properly at her circumstances. She also said she did not believe his explanation of "no time" for the moment she showed him her face with the makeup removed, calling out his indifference.

The man later confesses to her and tries to move the relationship forward, but the tension stays taut. When he asks, "Want some ramen before you go?", she signals refusal by saying she doesn't really like ramen. At his clumsy manner she reacts by calling him "silly."

"I don't expect you to stay"

The woman makes her position clear on his lack of consideration: she does not expect him to stay together all night. What she objects to is being sent away immediately, which she reads as a sign that he does not care for her as much as she hoped.
