Actors Im Siwan and Seol In-ah have revealed their exceptional chemistry and behind-the-scenes stories from their recent work. Appearing on the TEO channel's 'Salon Drip', the two shared how they met through their new project 'My Guilty' and discussed episodes experienced while portraying their characters.
Seol In-ah describes Im Siwan's professional rehearsal that "made her heart flutter"
Although the two are working together for the first time in this project, they previously met as a flight attendant and a passenger in the film 'Emergency Declaration'. Seol In-ah recalled telling Im Siwan "You are handsome" at that time and mentioned the positive energy Im Siwan showed on set. She noted that Im Siwan is someone who finds joy easily, remembering that even during a difficult scene where the airplane was in chaos, he said, "I'm having so much fun."

In particular, Seol In-ah confessed to the tension she felt during the rehearsal process held before official filming. While practicing a confrontation scene based on the setting of a woman disguised as a man, she shared an intense moment where she said her "mouth went dry" because Im Siwan stayed so close to her while strictly following the script to match their movements. Regarding this, Im Siwan showed a professional attitude, stating, "It was written that way in the script, and I just didn't know I would execute it like that."
The unexpected turn: Im Siwan chooses to ride the KTX to Busan together
The reason their relationship grew rapidly close was revealed during the filming location process in Busan. When there was insufficient time to practice important scenes, Seol In-ah suggested to Im Siwan that they travel together on the KTX to practice. While Im Siwan initially appeared to decline the suggestion—leading Seol In-ah to even relay this to the director—he eventually had her cancel her ticket and personally booked two tickets so they could travel together.

During the two-hour journey, Im Siwan brought snacks such as mangoes and donuts while focusing on discussing important scenes of the work to continue their practice. Seol In-ah said, "Thanks to him approaching me warmly first, I was able to break down my guard," adding that her efforts to suggest taking photos every day on set to make memories helped their relationship. She added that she suggested things like mirror selfies to capture the process of moving from an awkward first meeting to becoming close, and this atmosphere extended to the director as well.
The hardships of a character disguised as a man: "I couldn't breathe due to the bandages"
In this work, Seol In-ah plays 'Yoon I-jun', a third-generation chaebol with a secret who infiltrates as a personal secretary disguised as a man. Seol In-ah shared the physical hardships of having to wear tight bandages to maintain the male disguise. She revealed that she had difficulty regulating her condition because she could not breathe well due to the bandages. She explained that she tends to consume energy quickly, stating that even after greeting people excitedly, she can quickly reach a state where her "battery is discharged."

Im Siwan plays a third-generation chaebol who is identified as a murder suspect. The two introduced 'My Guilty' as a "close thriller romance between a third-generation chaebol identified as a suspect and a travel agency employee who infiltrates as his personal secretary," conveying the core atmosphere of the work.
