RIIZE and ILLIT tease new music and choreography in KBS interview

RIIZE and ILLIT showcased previews of their upcoming comeback stages during a KBS Music Bank interview, with RIIZE introducing their first offbeat pop track 'Insomnia' and ILLIT performing choreography for 'Cherish (My Love)'.

KBS Music Bank has released an interview featuring the two returning groups, RIIZE and ILLIT, showcasing the colors of their new songs and providing spoilers for their upcoming stages.

RIIZE delivers soulful emotions with their first offbeat pop track 'Insomnia'

RIIZE is introducing a new musical direction with their new song 'Insomnia'. The group noted that this track marks their first attempt at the offbeat pop genre, asking for high expectations as the song calmly and sorrowfully expresses insomnia and longing. To convey the mood of the track, the members provided a musical spoiler by singing a portion of the song: "Wake me up, I'll stay up all night 'til I see the morning. Stay up all night 'til I see the morning." Upon hearing the song, reactions from the scene included comments that the track was so good it might cause insomnia.

ILLIT previews upcoming stage with 'Cherish (My Love)' choreography spoiler

Also making a comeback, ILLIT introduced the concept for their title track 'Cherish (My Love)'. The group explained that the song is about issuing an immediate warning to someone who has committed the sin of making them mistaken due to habitual kindness. During a subsequent choreography spoiler, they showcased the title track's dance to preview their performance. ILLIT performed the choreography while requesting that Bank President Ji-min join the dance and Bank President Jae-won handle the whistle. Although difficulties in adjusting the timing were mentioned during the choreography spoiler, they delivered a performance that felt like a single song.

The interview was organized to celebrate the comeback of both teams, concluding with the announcement that ILLIT's 'Cherish (My Love)' stage and RIIZE's emotional performance would follow.
