Cast members of the global food talk show 'IDOL'S TABLE' guessed each other's food preferences through drawings in a recent Mnet Plus video. Minami shared how her father made heart-shaped omurice for her every night since elementary school, while Ha Seong-hun recalled bibim-guksu made by his grandfather.

In the global food talk show 'IDOL'S TABLE', which focuses on K-food, the cast members participated in a quiz where they guessed each other's food preferences through drawings. The video released by Mnet Plus captures the process of the cast members inferring the correct answers by looking at the 'Family's Table' drawings prepared by Ha Seong-hun and Minami.

"Spicy food boosts my mood" Ha Seong-hun's red spicy stir-fried squid

Ha Seong-hun kicked off the quiz by showcasing his drawing skills. One of his drawings was an omurice, which the cast members correctly identified by its shape. Ha Seong-hun drew laughter from the group, remarking to those who guessed correctly that he "made it difficult on purpose."

In particular, the drawing Ha Seong-hun intentionally used red colors for was spicy stir-fried squid. He explained, "Eating spicy food makes me feel good, so I used red to try and express the spiciness." He added details resembling knife cuts to represent the texture of the stir-fried squid. He also mentioned memories of bibim-guksu (spicy noodles) that his grandfather used to make for him every weekend during his childhood. The bibim-guksu, which he ate with kimchi, was a dish his mother would quickly make for him during hungry early mornings, remaining a special taste for Ha Seong-hun.

"Like a Seongsu-dong pop-up store" Minami's sophisticated food drawings

When Minami's drawings were revealed, the cast members expressed admiration, calling them "legendary." The level of completion was so high that reactions suggested the drawings were as sophisticated as photos from a pop-up store in Seongsu-dong. Minami's drawings included elements such as sukiyaki, curry, and kimchi-jjim.

Minami named kimchi-jjim as her favorite food and mentioned its combination with green onion kimchi. Meanwhile, the omurice in her drawing was a menu item with a special story. Minami shared that it was "a dish my father made for me every night since I was in elementary school," recalling how her father would make a heart shape on top of the omurice. This omurice, containing her father's unique recipe, was a precious food she wanted to introduce.

Minami also talked about the stew her mother used to make during the winter. She added that in Japan, stew is eaten both with rice and dipped with bread, and she enjoys both methods. Through the drawings Minami created, the cast members were able to confirm her distinct culinary tastes.
