Returning to YouTube after 18 months, Chodan revealed she suffers from severe shoulder instability that makes lifting her arm difficult. During a health check, expert Mun Gi-hun noted her arm bone falls outside the normal range, prompting a recommendation for rehabilitation exercises three times a day.

Artist Chodan has shared updates with her fans through her personal YouTube channel for the first time in one year and six months. In a video announcing her long-awaited return, Chodan revealed specific plans for her future channel operations alongside her health management.

"I can't lift my arm": Experts call shoulder condition "serious" for artist in her 20s

During a "healing care" session held to celebrate her return, Chodan's shoulder condition was revealed. Despite her regular exercise routine, she experienced difficulty with movements involving lifting her arms due to instability in the shoulder joint. While examining her condition, expert Mun Gi-hun pointed out that the position of her arm bone falls outside the normal range.

In particular, a "clicking" sound was confirmed in the joint when lifting her arm upward. According to the expert, Chodan's shoulder joint appears to be displaced, resulting in significantly decreased shoulder stability, such as the inability to perform internal rotation movements properly. As the diagnosis suggested her condition is serious enough to be compared to "frozen shoulder" despite being in her 20s, Chodan expressed her struggle, stating, "Even enduring this to do it is my best condition."

The expert explained to Chodan that she is currently in a state where she cannot properly bear the weight of her arm, and recommended that she consistently perform rehabilitation exercises three times a day, 50 repetitions each, within a pain-free range. Chodan promised to follow through with this despite her busy upcoming tour schedule and other activities.

"Will show everything about the human Hong Ji-hye"... presenting channel direction

After completing her health check, Chodan spent time communicating with fans while enjoying a rich seafood meal consisting of salmon, eel, uni, and gamtae. During this time, she shared her honest feelings regarding the image she wishes to project through her personal channel. Chodan expressed her determination to capture both the aspects fans want to see and the various sides of herself as the "human Hong Ji-hye."

Regarding specific content directions, she mentioned challenging aspects different from her existing image, such as drum playing, motorcycle riding, and whisky tasting. Chodan signaled active communication, saying, "If you leave comments about what you are curious about, I will read every single one and produce them into videos." In particular, she suggested the possibility of creating content featuring her daily life with delicious snacks, mentioning her character "Kurimanju."

Finally, Chodan announced the full-scale start of her channel activities, promising to stay by her fans' side in good health, noting, "In order to show you various things, health is the top priority."
