Ahn Jae-wook expresses frustration over noise complaints at daughter's school sports day

He stated that during his breaks from acting, he is making an effort to spend more time with his children. As a father of a third-grade child and a six-year-old daughter, Ahn Jae-wook said he values the time spent with them deeply.

Ahn Jae-wook disclosed an anecdote about serving as an emcee in the form of a talent donation at his daughter's school event. He noted that he has volunteered to read books to different classes and recently took on the role of emcee after being requested to host a school sports day. At the event, he actively led the proceedings, such as cheering for the blue team and encouraging applause from parents.

However, Ahn Jae-wook also mentioned a regrettable situation he encountered while hosting the sports day. He stated that complaints were received claiming the shouting of the children and the music were too loud. Regarding this, Ahn Jae-wook expressed regret over views that dismiss the sounds of children making precious memories as noise, asking, "The children's running, shouting, and the music—how can those few hours today be considered noise?"

Parental race against BIGBANG's TAEYANG... "I only saw TAEYANG's back"

The broadcast also continued with stories of a running race in which Ahn Jae-wook and BIGBANG's TAEYANG participated as representatives for the parents. Recalling TAEYANG's overwhelming speed while they were in the same group, Ahn Jae-wook said, "TAEYANG was so fast that there wasn't even time for my shoes to come off. I only saw TAEYANG's back." At the time, Ahn Jae-wook recorded third place among the five representatives.

TAEYANG mentioned that he thought Ahn Jae-wook finished last, but Ahn Jae-wook shared that he felt he was quite fast considering his age. The two shared a conversation, connecting through their common experience as parents participating in the parental race.
