OH MY GIRL's HYOJUNG embraces themes of wandering in new mini album
OH MY GIRL's HYOJUNG is shifting away from her bright, positive image to present a new musical worldview centered on wandering and personal growth in her first mini album, 'Lost&Found'.

OH MY GIRL's HYOJUNG is shifting away from her bright image with her first mini album 'Lost&Found', featuring the title track "Maybe Unfinished". To express themes of growth and a personal "rebellious phase" experienced since last year, she filmed music video scenes in Jeongseon using a scooter to portray a more mature image.
OH MY GIRL's HYOJUNG is stepping away from her existing bright and positive image to present a new musical worldview containing themes of wandering and growth. Through behind-the-scenes footage of the music video and jacket shoot for the title track "Maybe Unfinished" from her first mini album 'Lost&Found', HYOJUNG directly shared the concerns and changes she experienced while preparing for this album.
"I only thought about having to do well"... a 'rebellious phase' revealed after 11 years
HYOJUNG chose 'wandering' as the core keyword for this album. She explained that while her previous activities aimed in a positive direction, such as "My Little Spring" (Na-jak-chun), this time she wanted to capture the process of acknowledging that even getting lost is part of one's own path. In particular, HYOJUNG spoke candidly about the psychological pressure that had weighed on her for 11 years since her debut.

Confessing that she was "filled with the thought that I must not go astray because I have to do well," HYOJUNG shared that since around last year, she has experienced her own 'puberty' or 'rebellious phase' by telling herself, "Don't tell me what to do." This internal change connects to the album's theme, 'Lost&Found', and is intended to convey empathy to those who are wandering.
Visualizing 'mature growth' with scooters and Western looks
To implement the new concept, HYOJUNG chose a 'Western' style. She matched outfits that create a free atmosphere to visually express the image of growing through rebellion and wandering. The goal of this work was to break away from her previous cute image and present a slightly cooler and tougher feel.
In the music video, HYOJUNG is shown continuing her journey by riding a scooter along roads with forests, facing dead ends, and sometimes repairing a broken scooter. She added the specific reason that she chose a scooter because riding a bicycle might have given off a somewhat childish feeling. This setting was utilized as a device to show a 'grown-up HYOJUNG.'
"Beautiful things seen only when looking back"... sincerity contained in the song
Among the tracks in this album, HYOJUNG identified the bridge part as the section she cherishes the most. She noted that when climbing mountains or traveling, it is easy to miss the beautiful scenery unfolding behind you because you are running only forward, but there are beautiful moments encountered when you look back after becoming exhausted. She captured the message of moving forward again based on that strength in the lyrics.
She expressed that the content is about moving forward while thinking it is okay because even the truly difficult journeys in life are things she chose herself. Through this album, she hopes fans will recognize her new face and sincere heart. Filming took place against the backdrop of actual nature, such as Dorongi Pond in Jeongseon, and HYOJUNG showed her affection for the work by personally suggesting the location, which holds memories of her backpacking there four years ago.
