'Unrequited Love World' Surpasses 20,000 Cumulative Viewers, Continuing Success with High Ratings

The film 'Unrequited Love World,' starring Suzu Hirose, Hana Sugisaki, and Kaya Kiyohara, has surpassed 20,000 cumulative viewers. Released on June 24th and distributed by Megabox Central Co., Ltd., the film continues its box office success, receiving high ratings of 9.5 or higher from actual viewers.

Directed by Nobuhiro Doi and written by Yuji Sakamoto, this film is a coming-of-age fantasy that depicts the journey of three protagonists—Misaki (Suzu Hirose), Yuka (Hana Sugisaki), and Sakura (Kaya Kiyohara)—who have lived for 12 years unable to connect with others. The story unfolds when a message flows through the radio one day, saying, "If you convey your feelings to the person you miss, you can return to the world."

Currently showing in Megabox theaters nationwide, this film is rated for ages 12 and up and has a running time of 126 minutes.

Special Benefit Events for Weeks 3 and 4 Starting July 8th

To celebrate surpassing 20,000 viewers, special benefit events will be held from July 8th through the 4th week.

For those eligible for the Week 3 weekday event starting Wednesday, July 8th, an A3-sized special poster will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis. The poster features the childhood images of the three protagonists played by Suzu Hirose as Misaki, Hana Sugisaki as Yuka, and Kaya Kiyohara as Sakura. It is characterized by the three children sleeping while hugging each other.

Special benefits for weekend viewers will be provided starting July 11th. An A3 illustration poster created by the artist Polotokki will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis, featuring emotional illustrations that capture the personalities of the protagonists.

Goods Package Screenings to be Held on the 18th and 19th

During the 4th week of release, Goods Package Screenings will be held. The screenings will take place on July 18th and 19th.

On July 18th, screenings will be held at Megabox Coex, Mokdong, and Hongdae (Anime) locations. On the 19th, they will meet audiences at Megabox Suwon AK Plaza and Guui East Pole.

Attendees of the screenings will be provided with an A3 launching poster and a 3-piece set of character still-cut postcards of Misaki, Yuka, and Sakura.
