BTS Jin sweeps numbers 1 to 7 on magazine bestseller lists
BTS Jin proved his overwhelming power by sweeping the top 7 bestseller spots as soon as the pre-orders for the August issue of Elle began.
Successfully Lining Up 1st to 7th in Magazine Sales
BTS's Jin has dominated the magazine market. The August issue of the fashion magazine ELLE, featuring Jin as the cover model, swept the 1st to 7th places on real-time magazine bestseller lists of major online bookstores such as YES24 as soon as pre-orders began on July 10. Both the set version containing all six of Jin's covers and the six individual cover versions all made it into the rankings.
His influence in the Japanese market is also powerful. The January 2026 issue of the Japanese fashion magazine SPUR recorded number one on the Amazon Japan bestseller list as soon as pre-orders started. The magazine is already sold out at Kyobo Book Centre in Korea. SPUR stated that they have been requesting Jin to be their cover model for several years.
The February 2026 issue of Marie Claire showed a similar pattern in the past. As soon as pre-orders began at that time, all seven versions occupied the 1st to 7th places on the Aladdin magazine bestseller list. Not only did it rank 1st in Aladdin's weekly and monthly sales, but it also ranked 1st in YES24's overall and weekly sales. In monthly sales at the time, it ranked 2nd following the Revised New Korean Version Daily Bible.
Presence as a Global Fashion Icon
Jin, a global ambassador for GUCCI, revealed his looks with Gucci along with an interview about his music and himself through this August issue of ELLE.
His activities during Fashion Week are also notable. Jin was included in the 'Top 5 Viral Fashion Week Moments' list announced by the fashion magazine W KOREA, which recorded the most views, likes, and comments among content from the world's four major fashion weeks. Jin, who attended the Gucci 2025 S/S collection, is the only male idol to be included in that list.
BTS is continuing its world tour. From July 12 to 13 (KST), they will hold the world tour 'ARIRANG' performance at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. This performance takes place amidst growing buzz as 'Arirang' climbs back up the UK album charts.
