Kihyun Sweeps Music Broadcast Stages, Concluding First Week of 'So Good' Promotions

Kihyun, the main vocalist of the group MONSTA X, has completed his first week of promotions for his solo title track 'So Good'.

On the 12th, Kihyun posted photos from his recent stage performances on his social media. In the photos, Kihyun is seen sitting on indoor stairs wearing a bright-toned jacket and pants, making V-signs with both hands. Other photos include five individuals in casual outfits, giving thumbs-up or V-signs. Kihyun captioned the post, "So Good Week 1 finished."

For these promotions, Kihyun began his full-scale activities starting with the Mnet 'M Countdown' EP.936 stage on July 9, 2026. This was followed by a 4K fancam released from the KBS 'Music Bank' stage on July 10, and on the same day, he was mentioned alongside news of Click-B's full group comeback through KBS 'Happy Together'. His week-long music broadcast schedule continued through the MBC 'Show! Music Core' stage on July 11 and concluded with the SBS 'Inkigayo' stage on July 12.

The SBS 'Inkigayo' stage video recorded 2,925 views within just five hours of its release.

Expansion as a Vocalist, the Power of MONSTA X's Main Vocalist

Kihyun is a member of MONSTA X, who debuted in 2015 with their 1st mini album 'TRESPASS'. Performing as a six-member group alongside Shownu, Minhyuk, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M, he has served as the musical center of the team based on his powerful vocal volume and stable high notes. His solo album 'BORDERLINE' strengthens the rock genre and band sound, featuring a total of seven tracks, including the title songs 'So Good' and 'Domino'.

Kihyun's solo career continued from showcasing rock-infused vocals through his 1st single 'VOYAGER' in 2022, to revealing his unique vocal color through 'Bad Liar' in his 1st mini album 'YOUTH' later that same year. The current title track 'So Good' is the culmination of the vocal capabilities he has built up over time.

He is also active in the OST field as a vocalist. He has participated in numerous dramas and works, including 'One Step More', 'Love Virus', 'Spring Again', 'To Be With You', 'IS THIS LOVE', 'FIRE', 'AWAKE', and 'Full Moon'. Recently, he has continued his discography with the 2025 work 'Moon (꿈속의 문)'.

Proving Musical Spectrum Through Diverse Content

His activities extend beyond the stage. He appeared on episode 2 of the YouTube channel 'Paul Kim's Remaining Night' to perform live, and through the 'Kihyun's So Good Mode ON' content from Seukseuk Pangpang Studio, he revealed his daily grooming items. In the 'Fake Kim Hyo-yeon' recording studio episode (EP.20) with MONSTA X members Shownu and Hyungwon, he showcased his chemistry with his members.

Through Dingo Music's 'Killing Voice' with MONSTA X members, Kihyun performed the group's representative songs live, including 'Shoot Out', 'Fast', 'Trespass', 'Honestly', and 'N the Front'.
