IDIT, from 'FLY!' to 'Attent!on'
The rookie boy group IDIT has completed their six-week music show journey through promotions for their title track and follow-up song. Their active momentum continues following their New Artist Award win at the Seoul Music Awards.
A 6-Week Music Show Relay Created by Fan Requests
IDID, a rookie boy group under Starship Entertainment, has completed a total of six weeks of music show promotions, following their title track 'FLY!' with their follow-up song 'Attent!on'. This promotional period began following their first fan concert held in early April. At the time, fans who witnessed the 'Attent!on' performance on-site requested that it be broadcast on music shows, and IDID responded by immediately launching follow-up activities right after the promotions for 'FLY!' concluded.
Members Jang Yong-hun, Kim Min-jae, Park Won-bin, Chu Yu-chan, Park Seong-hyeon, Baek Jun-hyeok, and Jeong Se-min took the stages of major music programs, starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on July 2nd, followed by KBS2's 'Music Bank', MBC's 'Show! Music Core', and SBS's 'Inkigayo'. This six-week relay activity, made possible by fan requests, served as a process demonstrating their growth as a rookie group.
Between Intensity and Refreshment, a Stage Showing Two Faces
While the title track 'FLY!' exploded with intense energy and confidence to announce IDID's presence, the follow-up song 'Attent!on' revealed another side of them. Coexisting with boyish charm and confidence, 'Attent!on' emphasized the members' natural charms based on a soft melody.
The stage styling also underwent a change. Instead of the intense look from the 'FLY!' promotions, they chose a comfortable and sensible styling with a daily-wear mood. The kitschy sensibility, utilizing colorful outfits, hats, and belts, visually supported the song's atmosphere. In particular, the stage production incorporating an amusement park concept and the LED effects using 'Attent!on' typography enhanced the completeness of the performance. The intro starting with clapping, the point choreography shouting "Hey," and the addictive chorus captured everyone's attention.
Performances Led by Park Seong-hyeon and Park Won-bin, Targeting Fan Hearts with Ending Poses
The individual capabilities of the members were also on display. Park Seong-hyeon, who showed his presence since the 'FLY!' promotions, brought rhythm to the 'Attent!on' stage with his refreshing rap. The rhythmical performance led by Park Won-bin and Park Seong-hyeon demonstrated IDID's ability to command the stage. As the promotions continued, the members' facial expressions became more relaxed, and their stage manners became more natural.
The highlight of this promotional period chosen by fans is the 'ending pose.' The unique ending poses shown by the members at the end of every stage have established themselves as a form of play culture among fans. Their energetic movements and smiling expressions delivered energy to the fans. This performance capability served as the foundation for IDID recently winning the Rookie Award at the '35th Seoul Music Awards'.
IDID has fastened the first button of their career by proving their spectrum, spanning from the title track to the follow-up song. The agency stated that they plan to expand their connection with global fans through various self-produced contents in the future.
