Cortis surpasses 3 million copies only 10 months after debut
Cortis, who surpassed 3 million copies sold for their 2nd mini album just 10 months after debut, has embarked on a grand journey of 14 performances across 9 cities, starting their first world tour in Incheon.
The group Cortis has kicked off its first solo tour to meet fans worldwide just 10 months after their debut. Composed of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Geonho, Cortis will hold the '2026 CORTIS TOUR [PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN]' at the Incheon Inspire Arena on the 18th and 19th.
Starting in Incheon, this tour will travel to 9 cities worldwide, including Seoul, Toronto, New York, and Kanagawa, Japan, with a total of 14 performances. The Incheon and North American shows have already sold out during the membership pre-sale stage. The tour title, 'PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN,' reflects the members' determination to fully engage and play along with the audience instead of looking at smartphone screens.
Global success proven by reaching No. 82 on the Billboard 200
Cortis has achieved distinct results in the global music market through their recent second mini-album, 'GreenGreen.' The album reached No. 82 on the 'Billboard 200,' the main album chart, as of July 18, and has successfully remained on the chart for nine consecutive weeks. Currently, the cumulative sales of this album are approaching 3 million copies.
The success of the title track 'REDRED' continues as well. It held the No. 1 spot on Spotify's 'Weekly Top Songs Korea' chart for 12 consecutive weeks and is seeing long-term success on global charts. This is the longest chart run among K-pop boy groups debuted within the last five years. Their monthly listeners have also surpassed 12.7 million, placing them in the 'Top 3' among all-time K-pop boy groups.
Large-scale tour steps for rookies with less than one year since debut
Having debuted in September last year with their first EP 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,' Cortis has built their career through the lead single 'What You Want' up to this second mini-album. It is unusual to decide on a large-scale tour spanning 9 cities at a point where it has been less than a year since their debut. Their agency, Big Hit Music, stated, "We are grateful to hold a solo concert even though it has been less than a year since our debut. We will do our best so that the audience can have an unforgettable time in their lives."
Cortis has been communicating with their global fandom, 'COER,' by introducing their B-side tracks through self-produced content. This concert is a place where fans who have encountered them through online videos can face their actual stage performances. The core of this tour is the stage production to be presented by the members, who have established their own unique color across all areas, from song production to performance and video implementation.
From Lollapalooza to the F1 Singapore Grand Prix
The schedule following the Incheon performance coincides with major global festivals. Cortis will take the stage at 'Lollapalooza Chicago' in the United States on July 31 and August 1. Following that, they have also been named in the lineup for the 'Formula 1 (F1) Singapore Grand Prix' on October 9.
The Incheon Inspire Arena performance continues until the 19th. The members announced the start of their global tour by expressing their determination to create moments where they become one with the audience on stage.
