Singer Park Ji-hyun successfully completed the 'Showmanship Season 2' performance held at Seongnam Arts Center, with all seats sold out for both days. An encore performance in Seoul will follow in August.
Singer Park Ji-hyun continued the momentum of his nationwide tour, heating up Seongnam. The '2026 Park Ji-hyun Concert Showmanship Season 2 - Seongnam', held at the Seongnam Arts Center Opera House on the 18th at 5 PM and the 19th at 4 PM, proved the explosive interest of the audience by recording a sell-out for all seats on both days.
Park Ji-hyun presented a flawless stage composition during this performance, which lasted approximately 160 minutes over two sessions. Appearing on stage after the opening video, he opened the show by performing 'We Can Do It' incorporating Michael Jackson's choreography. He then drew enthusiastic responses from the audience by singing 'Nayana', 'Sea Man', 'Melt Away', 'Aeganjang', and 'Prayer' in succession. During the performance, he added to the heat of the venue by having an interview session with the audience to talk directly with them.
A Diverse Stage Composition Ranging from Pocha to Gugak
This performance focused on showcasing Park Ji-hyun's wide musical spectrum. In the 'Galmuri' stage, he provided fun to the audience by adopting a Pocha (street food stall) concept. He displayed different charms by singing 'Swing Baby' during the 18th performance and 'Turn on Your Turn Signal' during the 19th performance. In particular, during the 'Manmul Truck' stage, he increased the immersion of the stage by using an actual truck set and a megaphone as props.
The Gugak (traditional Korean music) stage, imbued with traditional colors, was also an unforgettable highlight. Appearing in a Hanbok Kwaeja, Park Ji-hyun sang passionately with a Gugak team, performing 'Hanobaeknyeon', 'Gangwon-do Arirang', 'Ssirarang', 'Mangbuseok', and 'Motnannom'. He then overwhelmed the audience through a series of stages including 'Mu', 'When You Smile, I'm Happy', 'Binari', 'My Love is Far Away', and 'Gong'. During the show, he built a bond with the audience by screening a 'Friend' parody video and a video with a 'Park Instructor' concept. During the nightclub medley segment, he brought the atmosphere to its peak by performing 'An Unreasonable Reason', 'Gimme Gimme', and 'Wrongful Encounter' under mirror ball lighting.
A Happy Conclusion in Seongnam, Reaching the Tour Peak with the Seoul Encore in August
The grand finale of the performance was decorated by 'You, Who Cannot Leave'. Following the encore requests after the song ended, Park Ji-hyun responded to the fans' love by singing 'Joy' and 'Now' passionately. After introducing the musicians, he concluded all schedules with the final song 'Invitation'. Before stepping off the stage, Park Ji-hyun delivered a sincere greeting, saying, "I had a truly happy time in Seongnam," and "I am grateful to everyone who joined us."
Park Ji-hyun made his name known to the public by taking 2nd place, 'Sun', in the audition program 'Mr. Trot 2'. Since then, he has continued active activities by appearing in various entertainment programs such as 'Tralala Wandering Troupe', 'It's Okay to be Directionally Challenged', 'I Live Alone', and 'My Turn'. Following the release of his first mini-album 'OCEAN' last January, he solidified his position as a singer by releasing his first full-length album 'MASTER VOICE' this February. Having successfully completed the Seongnam performance, Park Ji-hyun is scheduled to crown this nationwide tour with a Seoul encore performance this coming August.
