Woo Do-hwan renews contract with Blitzway Entertainment… Next project 'Made in
Actor Woo Do-hwan has extended his exclusive contract with Blitzway Entertainment. We report on the future endeavors of Woo Do-hwan, who has confirmed his appearance in Disney+'s 'Made in Korea 2' in the second half of the year.
Actor Woo Do-hwan is continuing his partnership with his current agency, Blitzway Entertainment, by renewing his exclusive contract. Blitzway Entertainment officially announced on the 22nd that it has signed a recontract with Woo Do-hwan.
Hong Min-gi, CEO of Blitzway Entertainment, evaluated Woo Do-hwan as "an actor who has built his own unique color with intense energy and solid acting skills." He continued, "We are delighted to walk together once again based on the trust we have built together. We will provide unsparing support so that Woo Do-hwan can further expand his unique strengths on the global stage in the future."
Global presence continuing from 'Made in Korea' to 'Bloodhounds 2'
Woo Do-hwan has recently solidified his position by expanding his acting spectrum on global OTT platforms. In the Disney+ original series 'Made in Korea' released late last year, he played the role of Baek Ki-hyun, an elite officer from the military academy, creating intense tension as he clashed with his older brother Baek Ki-tae (played by Hyun Bin). He received praise for portraying a character who moves toward his own goals, breaking free from his brother's shadow, with a firm gaze.
Earlier this year, he contributed to global success by appearing as Kim Gun-woo in the Netflix series 'Bloodhounds 2'. He proved his acting skills by handling the high-difficulty action and deepened emotional lines of a character who becomes a world champion. Based on these activities, Woo Do-hwan also won the 'Special Acting Award' in the OTT category at the 46th Golden Shooting Awards last June.
Confirmed appearance in 'Made in Korea 2' in the second half of the year and future activities
Following his contract renewal, Woo Do-hwan's project activities will continue without rest. His appearance in the Disney+ original series 'Made in Korea 2', scheduled for release in the second half of this year, has been confirmed. In this season, Woo Do-hwan will portray his character after nine years have passed. He is set to appear as a decisive figure penetrating between Baek Ki-tae (played by Hyun Bin), who stands at the pinnacle of power, and Jang Geon-young (played by Jung Woo-sung), who is preparing a counterattack, thereby changing the flow of the drama.
Woo Do-hwan, who debuted in the 2011 MBN drama 'Comeback Madness', made his name known to the public through numerous works such as 'Save Me', 'Mr. Plankton', and 'Mad Dog'. Born in 1992, he plans to further accelerate his steps as a global actor under the full support of his agency through this contract renewal.
