Cats Eye's new music video 'Animal' featuring Demi Moore

Hollywood actress Demi Moore made a cameo appearance in the music video for the K-pop girl group KATSEYE. KATSEYE, a global girl group formed through a joint venture between HYBE and Geffen Records, simultaneously released the digital single 'Animal' and its music video worldwide on the 24th at 1 PM (KST).

The new song 'Animal' deals with the image on stage and the energy behind it. It expresses latent inner instincts through a cheerful rhythm, dynamic beats, and an addictive hook, featuring the lyrics "You move like an animal."

Top-tier producers including Ed Sheeran participate

World-renowned singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran participated in co-writing the song, enhancing its quality. The production team includes Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, Grammy-winning producer Blake Slatkin, and Omer Fedi.

The music video was directed by Cody Leese, who worked on KATSEYE's 'Touch.' The video captures the moment where reason and instinct collide by contrasting an office space with a red stage. It includes choreography and facial expressions reminiscent of animal claws.

Demi Moore's return to a music video after 30 years

In the video, Demi Moore appears before the members, who are confused while choosing clothes, and acts as a problem solver. After watching the members, Moore shouts, "Let's Get Wild!" With this line, the members shed their suits and transform into a wild look.

Demi Moore's cameo appearance in a music video comes about 30 years after Jon Bon Jovi's 'Ugly' music video in 1997. Previously, Jessica Alba appeared in the 'Gabriela' music video.

Global achievements achieved within 2 years of debut

The five-member group KATSEYE, consisting of Yoonchae, Moon Sin-ae, Megan, Daniela, and Sophia, debuted in the United States based on HYBE's 'K-pop methodology.' Within two years of their debut, they have performed on major festival stages such as Coachella.

Last May, they won three awards at the '2026 American Music Awards (AMA),' including New Artist of the Year. They were also nominated for two categories at the '68th Grammy Awards.'

August EP release and world tour schedule

The third EP 'WILD,' which includes the new song 'Animal,' will be released on August 14. Prior to the album release, they will present their first theatrical documentary, 'KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS,' on August 12.

Starting this September, they will embark on the world tour 'THE WILDWORLD Tour,' visiting 10 countries in North America and Europe. This tour consists of a total of 31 shows.
