KISS OF LIFE reveals summer comeback preparations in the practice room

KISS OF LIFE has revealed their intense preparation process, moving between the practice room and the recording studio as they gear up for their summer comeback. This project focuses on capturing the members' natural selves, showcasing their passion for the upcoming single, 'SWEAT.' The released footage captures the vivid atmosphere of the practice and recording sessions as the members dive into full-scale preparations for their return.

Recalling trainee days during choreography practice

While repeatedly practicing the choreography for 'SWEAT' in the studio, the members reflected on their mindsets during their trainee days. Julie expressed her determination, stating, "I'm practicing repeatedly with a trainee mindset," while the other members recalled the fierce intensity of that period, noting, "Our trainee days were no joke." Laughter broke out among the members as they performed choreography that seemed to be etched into their muscle memory. A playful moment occurred when filming had to be briefly paused because the members couldn't stop laughing during Julie's freestyle dance. In particular, Julie's freestyle version of the performance drew reactions like "Kit-mang-jin-chang" (a chaotic mess) from the members, creating a lively, high-school-like atmosphere.

The footage also captured glimpses of the members' daily lives during breaks. Haneul was seen tending to a potted plant in the studio, mimicking the act of planting seeds, and taking breaks by stretching with a foam roller. Haneul even recommended a specific hollow-center foam roller available in the studio and explained how to use it. Belle mentioned the martial arts lessons she took during the 'Bad News' promotions, expressing her ambition to showcase even more mature and "hot" action sequences this time. "Given where we are now, I think we can pull off even more mature and hot action scenes," Belle said, building anticipation among the KISS OF LIFE members.

From the recording studio to the practice room, captured in their most natural state

The shoot took place in the members' actual workspaces, including the recording studio and the practice room. While filming inside the recording booth, Belle shared her thoughts, saying, "It's fun because I can try out various types of acting." Haneul showed the group's close bond by affectionately taping up a member's injury. Toward the end of the shoot, the members were seen playing shadow puppets after sunset, appearing as if they had returned to childhood. Julie had a great time making dog-shaped shadows with her hands.

Episodes highlighting the members' human sides continued. They shared memories of traveling by KTX in the past to film their own content. The footage added a sense of intimacy as they talked about the cinnamon pretzels they ate back then and even captured moments of them spilling snacks while eating. In particular, the way the members recorded even the smallest, most trivial moments highlighted the tight-knit teamwork unique to KISS OF LIFE.
