Singer Hanroro spent a delightful time enjoying shaved ice (bingsu) with long-time friends she has known since high school. Hanroro described bingsu as her "magic food" to turn to when her brain feels overloaded and her head feels hot, emphasizing that it must be shared with friends rather than eaten alone. She humorously expressed the connection between bingsu and friendship, noting, "You can't eat it alone; loving friends to share warm conversations with are essential to protect your heart."

From Ice to Chocolate: A Bingsu Story Full of Personal Tastes

Those attending the gathering candidly revealed their individual bingsu preferences. Hanroro recalled that her habit of chewing on ice since childhood evolved through an ice cream phase and eventually "upgraded" to bingsu. While she stated a preference for bingsu with finely ground red bean paste or injeolmi (bean powder) bingsu, she mentioned that strawberry bingsu is her absolute favorite. She also shared specific tastes, such as her dislike for the cheese served with blueberry bingsu. One friend added that they do not particularly like cheesecake, but Hanroro showed her affectionate side by saying she could eat it for her friend.

While discussing preferences for chocolate-based menus like Chocolate Brownie and Oreo Choco Monster, Hanroro expressed regret over the discontinuation of the Premium Fresh Strawberry Bingsu she used to love. She shared her earnest wish for its return, saying, "If you are watching this, if you re-release this, many people are probably waiting for it." They enjoyed a bingsu topped with Jorio-pong, delighting in the "plot twist" moment when the red bean appeared late. When the red bean finally arrived, they gave a cute reaction, asking, "Why did you take so long? I wanted to see you sooner!"

Friendship Since 2021, The Return of the Bingsu Tour

Hanroro and her friends Jihae and Runi share a special bond that dates back to their high school days. Having known each other since early 2021 and meeting in person since early 2022, they revealed that the frequency of their gatherings has steadily increased. Having built their friendship through Instagram, they have maintained a close relationship as their time spent together grew. During the conversation, they showed their casual and close rapport, teasing each other about the "ugly" appearance of the microphone or commenting on each other's outfits.

In the past, they were so dedicated to bingsu that it was almost always their destination after a meal. During their younger, more energetic days, they enjoyed bingsu so much they could each have their own serving, though they had to regretfully pause their bingsu tours due to health issues. This meeting was a deeply moving moment for them, as it marked the resumption of their bingsu tours after several years. Hanroro expressed her precious friendship, noting that the taste of bingsu shared with friends is distinctly different from eating it alone. One friend even drew laughter from the group by jokingly expressing a sense of "betrayal" over not having shared bingsu together in the past.
