JEON SOYEON of the group i-dle conducted a vegetable mukbang to fulfill a promise she made during a past radio DJ appearance to celebrate her first-place win on a music program. In the released video, JEON SOYEON presented a vegetable mukbang show prepared by her company to celebrate achieving first place. She explained the situation where she was flustered by requests to make a promise when she appeared as a radio DJ for the first time in the past, mentioning she would "do a vegetable review," and expressed her determination to fulfill the promise following her first-place achievement.
"I hate it most when people don't keep promises"... The promise from her radio DJ days is the starting point
In the video, JEON SOYEON showed her attitude toward fulfilling promises, stating, "I really hate it most in the world when people don't keep promises or fulfill their pledges." She recalled that when she first took on the role of a radio DJ in the past, she was so nervous that she blurted out anything, leading to the promise of a "vegetable review." She explained that while she did not expect to take first place at the time, since she actually achieved it, she prepared this mukbang to keep her word.
From broccoli to cucumber cold soup... A 4-course vegetable meal
The menu prepared for this mukbang consisted of a total of four courses. In the appetizer stage, blanched broccoli with red chili paste (chojang), juice containing carrot, apple, and coconut, and cucumber cold soup (oi-naengguk) appeared. JEON SOYEON expressed hesitation regarding the coconut and the cucumber cold soup while checking the menu. In particular, regarding the cucumber cold soup, she mentioned the experience of her mother making cucumber cold soup instead of meat broth when she made naengmyeon at home in the past.
JEON SOYEON first tasted the juice mixed with carrot, apple, and coconut among the prepared menu. She then dipped the blanched broccoli in red chili paste and left a taste description saying, "It feels like I'm eating sashimi." The following menus prepared included witch soup and Vietnamese spring rolls. In the case of the Vietnamese spring rolls, ingredients such as duck, chicken, mushrooms, and pineapple were included.
"Feels like I'm eating a year's worth of vegetables"... The mukbang challenge continues
JEON SOYEON showed honest reactions to the menu during the mukbang process. She stated, "I hate water-soaked vegetables more," revealing that she does not prefer vegetables soaked in water over raw vegetables. She also expressed a negative view regarding fried vegetables. As the course meal progressed, JEON SOYEON continued her meal, mentioning, "I think I'm going to become very healthy today," and "I am eating a whole year's worth of vegetables."
