Actress Park Se-young is set to return to the screen in the drama 'Family Resister' following a four-year hiatus for marriage and childbirth. While preparing for her comeback, she has been sharing her life as a mother on KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman'.
Actress Park Se-young has returned to the camera, breaking a four-year hiatus caused by marriage and childbirth. Her daily life, revealed through KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman', shows the intersection of her preparations to return as an actress and her life as a mother.
From strangers to a married couple... the start of an 8-year romance
In a recent video, Park Se-young revealed the special connection she shares with her husband. The two first met through the drama 'School 2013'. At that time, they were not close enough to even know each other's phone numbers until the production ended. They later grew naturally closer by frequently attending the same gatherings of mutual acquaintances. Their meetings continued as they shared overlapping interests in social activities such as visiting ski resorts or cafes and playing board games with friends.

The decisive factor was religion. After her husband was recommended to attend the same church as Park Se-young, the two developed from acquaintances into lovers. Park Se-young shared an episode from that time, noting, "Acquaintances used to ask if I was okay after seeing my husband's strong impression." After an eight-year relationship, the couple is now living together with her younger husband, whom she described as actually having a gentle personality.
A 4-year hiatus: "Excited and pressured as it is my first work as a mother"
Park Se-young's return will take place through the drama 'Family Resister'. Taking on her first project after marriage and childbirth, Park Se-young expressed her feelings, saying, "Since it is my first work as a mother, it feels new and I feel a sense of pressure, but at the same time, I am excited." Confessing that the four-year hiatus was by no means easy, she added, "My body is at its limit, so it is truly not easy."

While focusing on time spent with her child through pregnancy and childbirth, Park Se-young also continued to grapple with concerns as an actress. She said, "I was worried about whether I could do a proper job when I took time away from [the child] to work." Amid these concerns, her appearance on 'The Return of Superman' was decided by her desire to make various fun memories with her child.
'Power Baby' Ra-il climbs slides backward
Park Se-young's daughter, Ra-il, is reported to eat so well that her weight doubled only 50 days after birth. Taking after her father with a good appetite, Ra-il has drawn attention with her fearless personality. In particular, she is called a 'power baby' due to her extraordinary physical strength, showing intense energy by climbing up slides backward.
Park Se-young is preparing for a new start as an actress while fulfilling her role as a mother in her daily life with her child.
