He plays a high-ranking official in a righteous legion protecting the royal family, a character described as having a delicate yet steadfast personality who silently protects the princess by her side. Ahn stated that he is focusing on implementing a unique feel for the character by practicing horse riding and studying vocalization, pronunciation, and tone to match the high volume of action in the work.

She noted that the process of learning the unfamiliar dialect has been particularly interesting.
