A new compilation has been released that allows viewers to revisit major stages from trot competitions in one place. The video, uploaded through the TVCHOSUN MUSIC channel, features a sequence of competition performances by five vocalists with unique tones: Song Ga-in, Yang Ji-eun, Ahn Sung-hoon, Jeong Seo-ju, and Kim Yong-bin.
Emotional stages ranging from "Bitter Daedong River" to "Time That Cannot Be Turned Back"
The video begins with Song Ga-in performing "Bitter Daedong River," where she expresses sorrowful emotions through lyrics set against the backdrop of the Taedong River. In the following stage, Yang Ji-eun delivered a poignant performance of "Don't Cross That River," conveying a desperate wish for a loved one not to leave. Singing of a promise to protect them until their hair turns white, Yang Ji-eun expressed a sentiment akin to the last spring leaf drifting down a river.

Ahn Sung-hoon heightened the immersion of the audience with his performance of "Time That Cannot Be Turned Back." He sang of a person who held his hand during his immature days, conveying the song's emotion through lyrics about weeping over time that cannot be turned back. As the emotional line of Ahn Sung-hoon's performance of "Time That Cannot Be Turned Back" intensified, the reaction from the scene was heated. As his stage progressed, exclamations such as "This is crazy," "Heart-pounding," and "You are so good" burst out repeatedly. As the lyrics and melody deepened, the audience continued to provide intense reactions that added weight to the stage.
Diverse variations of trot delivered by five vocalists
The video goes beyond a simple list of stages, following a flow that reaffirms the vocal capabilities proven through the competitions. Jeong Seo-ju's performance of "Oh Wind, Oh Wind" created a unique atmosphere with lyrics asking where the wind comes from and where it goes, expressing a desire to become the wind that provides comfort on days when one is tired of the world and wants to cry. Jeong Seo-ju continued the narrative of the song with lyrics about going to the Geumwon Course where flower scents are abundant to weep whether awake or asleep.
Leading up to Kim Yong-bin's performance of "Gratitude," the five singers each infused their voices with the narratives of their respective songs, reflecting on the meaning of the competition stages. The stages are organized in the video timeline in the following order: Song Ga-in (00:00), Yang Ji-eun (02:39), Ahn Sung-hoon (06:37), Jeong Seo-ju (10:22), and Kim Yong-bin (15:02), sequentially recreating the emotions of the competition.
