Brown Eyed Girls member JeA has returned to Seoul, concluding her six-year life in Jeju Island. News regarding JeA, who decided to leave her life in Jeju behind to refocus on her main profession, has been revealed.

On the 16th, JeA appeared on the 'Truman Show' episode of the YouTube channel 'Ipman Yeolmeon' and shared behind-the-scenes stories about her life in Jeju and the adoption of her pet dog. During the broadcast, when MC Lee Yong-jin asked about her current status in Jeju, JeA replied, "I've wrapped it up and am now just working hard," conveying that she is currently dedicated to her activities in Seoul.

The reason why 'living for a month' turned into 6 years

JeA's life in Jeju began with a 'one-month stay' she encountered through broadcasting. When the opportunity to stay in Jeju for a month arose, JeA headed to Jeju with her pet dogs. However, life in Jeju lasted longer than expected. JeA shared her dilemma at the time, saying, "The dogs loved Jeju so much that I felt like they would really curse at me if I suggested going back to Seoul after the month was up."

The decision to "just live for one more year" eventually stretched into six years. JeA mentioned the emotional stability Jeju provides, stating, "I need to go to Jeju to clear my head. If I'm in Seoul, I keep thinking only about work, so I can't rest." When returning to Seoul, she brought all the pet dogs she had lived with in Jeju. The pet dogs, which were two when she first moved to Jeju, have now become three and are living together in Seoul.

The 'light purple crop top' in the text message sent by Lee Hyori

Singer Lee Hyori played a role in the background of JeA welcoming a new family member during her life in Jeju. JeA shared an episode with Lee Hyori while talking about the Jindo dog she recently adopted. She revealed that Lee Hyori suddenly sent a text saying, "Now that you have a yard, isn't it about time you raised a Jindo dog?"

JeA recalled feeling bewildered when she first received the text, as it was difficult to grasp Lee Hyori's intention. However, the moment she checked the photo Lee Hyori sent, JeA cried for three days. This was because the Jindo dog in the photo was wearing a light purple crop top, which is JeA's favorite color. JeA explained the situation, saying, "I love light purple so much, and the sight of the Jindo dog wearing a light purple crop top was just so cute."

Before welcoming the new pet, a 'meeting' process with her existing dogs was held. JeA checked if the dogs could accept a new family member, and since they readily accepted, the adoption of the Jindo dog was finalized. JeA has wrapped up her life in Jeju and started a new daily routine in Seoul with her three pet dogs.
