Ji Yeon-soo sighs over remarriage concerns… 'If even one thing is bothersome, the relationship...'
Broadcaster Ji Yeon-soo shared her thoughts on remarriage and her recent update about working part-time at a gomtang restaurant through her YouTube channel.
Broadcaster Ji Yeon-soo has opened up about her concerns regarding remarriage. In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Ji Yeon-soo's Yeonsuroopda' on the 20th, Ji Yeon-soo met with fortune teller Park Seong-jun to consult about her physiognomy and future connections.
Analyzing Ji Yeon-soo's personality, Park Seong-jun pointed out that rather than a macho man, a partner who is comfortable like a friend and capable of mutual respect would be suitable. Given Ji Yeon-soo's personality, where she feels at ease only when she knows all situations clearly, he advised that she needs a relationship where she can communicate transparently rather than having to guess the other person's actions.
Park Seong-jun warned, "Between the ages of 49 and 51, there is a possibility that the energy to push men away will become stronger," adding, "You might end up ending a relationship if even just one thing bothers you." Ji Yeon-soo reacted with bewilderment and let out a sigh at these words.
A connection is only possible if the compatibility score exceeds 70–75
The threshold for Ji Yeon-soo's remarriage seems to be high. Park Seong-jun analyzed that Ji Yeon-soo has clear standards and somewhat lacks flexibility. He explained that while an average woman might form a connection with a compatibility score of around 50, Ji Yeon-soo has a personality where she can only sustain a relationship if the score exceeds 70–75.
Park Seong-jun said, "Since you are critical and easily notice the flaws in others, there are many things that bother you. It is not easy for most men to even enter your life, and even if they do, it is difficult for them to endure in the long term."
While Ji Yeon-soo expressed her desire to check the compatibility of someone she has liked for the first time in over ten years, she also shared her inner fear that the person might reject her. Park emphasized that it is strange to ask for a birth date immediately upon meeting, and that checking compatibility at a stage where you have developed an interest and can at least know their birthday is the only way to move toward marriage. When Ji Yeon-soo suggested that if her acquaintance were her, they would ask for the birth date from the start, Park pointed out that two people in similar situations meeting to seek advice could instead become a 'swamp' that makes each other's lives difficult.
Four months of working part-time at a Gomtang restaurant and plant lectures
Ji Yeon-soo also spoke candidly about her recent life. Currently working part-time at a Gomtang (beef bone soup) restaurant for four months, Ji Yeon-soo said, "I realized that I can be this diligent," noting that the process of striving to leave the best impression on customers while working in the service industry is serving as mental training.
She mentioned, "In my case, since I work in service, I might meet over 100 customers, but for this person, it might be their first time meeting me." She added, "Then the thought that the impression I give this person could become their entire day deepened, so I felt a strong desire to do my best to provide a pleasant and delicious feeling when they visit this space."
Ji Yeon-soo is also conducting plant-related lectures for children. However, since she cannot give special lectures every day, she continues her part-time service job for a steady income and daily routine. Park Seong-jun advised Ji Yeon-soo that conveying information or teaching others seems to suit her aptitude well.
Ji Yeon-soo went through a difficult time for five to six years after entering her 40s. Park Seong-jun advised that during years ending in 0, 1, or 2, one might face conflicts regarding relationships, money, and health.
Divorced from U-KISS member Eli and raising her son alone
Ji Yeon-soo married Eli, a member of the group U-KISS, in 2014 and had a son, Min-su, in 2016, but they divorced in 2020. Her ex-husband Eli, who is raising their son, recently remarried. Ji Yeon-soo responded by offering her congratulations.
